My daughter and I had just gotten off a nearly 20 hour train ride when we checked into our Airbnb in Richmond and we were so hungry. We tried this place off a Grubhub deal. The food was really good! We ordered gyoza, shrimp tempura, combo hibachi, tonkotsu ramen, and 2 sushi rolls. All of the food was really good. My hibachi had so much flavor, the ramen broth was great, and the rolls were excellent. The bang bang sauce for the shrimp was so good. The portions were generous for the price. If I lived here, I’d definitely eat here again.

I was skeptical at first due to bad reviews, but decided to try anyway, and I wasn’t disappointed.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted immediately by a friendly gentleman. I order a Chicken Hibachi and Bubble tea. I got my order at a reasonable time. The food portion was plenty and flavorful although it’s a bit too sweet for my taste.
I’ll be back to try other items on the menu.

Chicken Hibachi is delicious, this place opened up just a month ago, located in a uncrowded are of the shopping center! Offering more than sushi of course, for the price you get a good portion.

I got the hibachi chicken from here. It was a little bland and dry. I asked for extra Yum Yum sauce. The containers they gave me barely had any Yum Yum sauce in it and it was like water. Very disappointed with that. The spring rolls did not taste right at all. It almost tasted like cleaning product. I threw those away. The one person at the counter when I entered was not very friendly. Did not even acknowledge my four-year-old granddaughter when she tried to tell the lady hi. Definitely will not go back.

NOT ADULT SUPERVISION!
We went to eat today on Sunday, February 25, there is NO ADULT supervision, there were only two children, the big child (between 10-12) was the one who served us until then everything was normal For us.
until we realized that that child was making our food
The food was not good because my ramen felt like something was rotten, i ask for spicy tonkuksu ramen same my kid but instead or meat was tempura my husband food don have brócoli and was not hot I really don’t blame the child because he did everything possible to get the order out,
He made the drinks, the sushi, and we ordered an order of dumplings, but he forgot to make them and my husband didn’t have the heart to even ask him to make them.
In the entire time we were there, no adult showed up, neither the mother nor the father and no employee.
In fact, another customer appeared and asked him if he was alone that day and the boy answered yes, his father was buying something, so it is not the first time that the boy has been left alone in the restaurant serving customers.
I hope that in the future if they need to do something, they leave an adult supervising and attending or at least close up and leave a note that they will be back!

My regular sushi place is closed on Mondays, so I took a chance & ordered from “Not Just Sushi” in the same shopping center as Food Lion, kind of near the new Target on Staples Mill Road, across from the big Kroger, etc… kind of near where the Pizza Hut is in that shopping center.
It was SO GOOD!! I really loved it! I got some kind of roll that was a specialty roll, had shrimp, cream cheese, etc., and a crab salad, and the dumpling things I call pot stickers, everything was absolutely delicious, and what I really liked was that the man was SO incredibly grateful & appreciative for the business, he was so nice and wanted to please, for sure, and that’s so nice to find these days!
Y’all go give “Not Just Sushi” a try! You won’t regret it!

I had the hibachi chicken and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Served with fresh veggies and perfectly seasoned rice, it was a satisfying meal that I’ll definitely order again. Highly recommend it!

Ordered from DoorDash. Food was edible but dissapointing. “Orange” Chicken is more like Teriyaki Chicken. Did not taste ANY orange in it. Salty and you would think like other orange chickens I’ve had usually there’s a bit of a kick. The only “kick” to it is black pepper. Chicken wings, wasn’t 100% they were throughly cooked. Sushi, I’ve had better. Hey, I was curious and I tried it but I won’t be going here again.
