We have lived in Dubuque for 6 years but the first time eating here. The restaurant was busy, but we were also seated with no wait. Our waitress was great. She was honest with suggestions ( telling us what she thought looked good that night and what didn’t). I had the chicken and my husband had the ribeye. The homemade bread was delicious and they brought out all these little spreads to eat with crackers. I had a salad with homemade blue cheese dressing and that was also delicious! I will most certainly be eating here again!

Classic Dubuque supper club. Arrive early to enjoy your favorite cocktail. Nice menu with plenty of entrees. Had wonderful service and looking forward to our next visit.

LOVE a good supper club and this one did not disappoint. Visited on a Monday at 5 PM and the place was packed (that’s a good sign) the ambience was inviting and clean, the server was exceptionally kind and friendly, and the food was OUTSTANDING, will definitely be back!

I was honestly surprised by how mediocre this place is, especially considering the prices are what you’d expect for a genuinely good meal. The quality is extremely low, yet somehow they stay busy.
Everything tastes like it comes straight from a package—soups, sauces, dressings, and appetizers included. I ordered the stuffed chicken, which looked like a Twinkie smothered in a disgusting cheese sauce that clearly tasted like powdered cheese. The Alfredo sauce was, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve ever had in my life. And the chicken? I’d bet my right hand it was the same frozen chicken pieces many restaurants rely on.
Service didn’t help the experience either. The servers weren’t friendly, and I witnessed a woman—apparently a supervisor—being openly rude to older servers, which was uncomfortable to watch.
I could spend another 10 minutes detailing how bad my experience was, but it’s not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

I’ve lived here 7 years and have not been here prior. The Morocco is an amazing supper club, if you go away hungry here it is your own fault and the staff is over-the-top with enthusiasm, kindness and attentiveness. What a great place. I can’t wait to come back. Mighty tasty Old Fashioned.

First visit and very impressed with the staff, acknowledged our arrival, got us seated promptly and very attentive through out our visit. Rachel was very attentive during our meal. I had the chicken particularly when it’s named “Worlds Best”, didn’t disappoint. The bar makes an excellent Old Fashion.

Had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The servers were very nice. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the Moracco Mix, Greatest chicken, Baby Beef liver and 2 Iowa pork chops dinners and they were delicious.

Quaint Supper Club vibe. Nice thick cuts of prime rib, fluffy baked potatoes, crisp salads, warm bread and a trio of spreads to savor. Surprise dessert-ice ceam drinks feature grasshoppers, & pink squirrels. Only negative is we were enjoying an anniversary dinner and felt a bit rushed to vacate our table..

We were shopping and my husband struck up a conversation with one of the workers and she told us about Moracco’s Supper Club. She had great memories as a child eating there with her family.
You will need to make a reservation. The restaurant was in the middle of a residential area. There is plenty of parking.
Your first walk in to a coat room which leads right into a crowded bar. The hostess was across the room but we were not sure if we should go over to where she was or stay put. After a short wait, she come up to us and we were seated. We were seated at a corner table. There was another table next to where we were sitting. The tables are nicely decorated with linen tablecloths and a lit was candle.
Jim ordered the New York Strip and I got the Shrimp Scampi. Our waitress brought out a personal size loaf of freshly baked bread with whipped butter, a cracker basket and small containers of ham salad, egg salad and cheese sauce. We did not order this but it was standard for all tables. The food was delicious and we did not have room for dessert.
I didn’t particularly like the fact that we had to ask the table next to us to get up from their dinner so I could get out from the corner. I think they could utilize their space better for the dining room by taking out a short wall to open up the dining area we were in. Also I think the coat room can be repurposed and use it in a better way. It just looks like wasted space that could be reworked.
I am not a professional decorator or general contractor but it is just some opinions I have. Overall, I thought it was a nice place to eat but it did not have the Wow factor to drive to back to Dubuque and eat there again.

Hadn’t been here for sometime. Not sure why we haven’t been here more often. Great place!
