First time trying mooyah, my brother been telling me I should try it. Friendly staff, clean fun atmosphere, great food. I got the bbq bacon cheddar burger which did not disappoint. Shake was ok, would have been better if I added oreos. The fries are fresh and crispy/tender. Good food!

The staff did not speak English very well, that said, they were friendly. The burgers were delicious. I mentioned to my sister the buns were exceptional and she told me they were fresh made by Mooyah. It definitely made a difference in the burgers. The meat was seasoned and cooked to match the buns quality. The toppings were fresh, as well as the signature sauce that added to the burger. The fries were excellent, hot, cooked at the time of order and crisp. Their signature drinks we cool, light and refreshing.
It is extremely close to UAB and Children’s Hospital, so an added plus if you are there for care.

First time to eat at a Mooyah. I ordered chips because I’m not a big French fry person. When I got the chips they were cold. I let them know they were cold and they said they cook the chips first thing in the morning. We were eating at 1:10 pm in the afternoon. I ask if they could make me some fresh ones and they said they couldn’t. They did offer to give me some hot French fries and I did accept their offer. Burger was good but the patty is thin like a smash burger. For a combo, you get charged the price of the burger, then they do a 2nd price for the side and drink so it’s really not a combo. Review summary….For the price I paid, the food was ok but not great for a burger place.

I love their burgers but I wish they would stop giving old fries. The first two times I went i was headed to work and they gave old fries. So I started asking for fresh cooked fries. I went 1.16.26 and I asked for fresh fries they brought them out hot. Almost half the fries were extra brown with an awkward taste. Im not usually a person who post reviews but I pay over $21 when I eat there. Im gonna call and mention to a manager as well. They can write it off as a loss in business so their not losing anything.

Since I was stranded in the city and had to walk everywhere. I found this burger joint to help with my starvation. Ordering food was easy given the kiosk that’s available for customers. We got there right before closing so I was skeptical about ordering it. I rarely eat beef but I had no choice given my situation. I do not regret this at all. The burger was so juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries wasn’t that good. Im sure the twenty min walk in the cold killed them. Next time I’ll dine in. The staff was great. Facility was clean.

Here visiting Birmingham and this food was good. I had the Diablo burger and I would give it an 8.5/10 only because I needed more sauce so I added ketchup. I’m definitely going to try again before I leave.

Waiting 24min for fries and a shake when there are almost no customers in the store is ridiculous. Orders not processed in order of arrival time. Once I Iet them know I needed to leave the order was ready in 2 min!!! This was my first time trying and likely the last.

Went in on what had you been the hottest day in August of 2023 and their air conditioner was pumping! The bathroom and store were super clean, and the staff was amazing. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger, a bacon cheeseburger barbecue, and fries. The fries were actually pretty good, and were cooked to perfection. The hamburgers were delicious but we’re very greasy. Two hamburgers, one fry, two small drinks = $31

Whenever I’m in Birmingham and have a desire for a turkey burger, this is usually my choice. While they use jennie-o prepared turkey burger patties, it’s a bit disappointing that they tend to be much more expensive than the beef patties. Also, because it’s a preformed pattie it tends to be bland in and of itself. The other thing you have to be careful with is if you start adding extras to your sandwich this can greatly increase the price. Their hand cut fries tend to be good and well seasoned. Their milkshakes also tend to be a good price to value.
