Tucked away in a little blue trailer at 10th and Broadway, The Grub Shack is serving up soul-soothing goodness that Paducah absolutely needs to know about. I swung by recently and split an order of ten chicken wings, going half honey sriracha, half barbecue—and let me tell you, I wasn’t ready for that flavor explosion. The honey sriracha hits you with sweet heat that dances on your tongue, while the barbecue brings that smoky, sticky satisfaction that’ll have you licking every digit. Wing game: elite.
But the real knockout? A half-pound of hash brown casserole that could singlehandedly broker world peace. Creamy, crispy, and rich enough to make you question your loyalty to Grandma’s cooking. I genuinely considered sending a thank-you card to the chef. It’s that serious.

I’m telling you guys. This is a must place to eat at. Just about everything is made fresh to order, so yes sometimes there can be a lengthy wait, but it’s totally worth it! The owner Justin is a pretty cool dude and will make it right if you are not satisfied with your order.

Easily the absolute best BBQ I’ve ever had! The menus creativity matches the excellence of his cooking skills! In addition to traditional smoked faves such as pulled BBQ, hamburgers, and bacon wrapped dogs .. his renditions of other food not necessarily thought of as BBQ related (such as BBQ egg rolls) is amazing. Everything single thing is a dopamine spiking delight! Jalapeño poppers with cream cheese and bacon – stellar! Deserts are phenomenal! If you haven’t eaten here, I advise doing so immediately! Once you have anything here, it will become a favorite spot for grub! Can’t say enough good things about this place! It is truly awe-inspiring!!!

I didn’t get to try the items I initially came for however, just by the taste of those wings I can tell the ribs would have been a true treat. I also tried a recommendation which was the potato hash, it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back! 🙂 Thanks
