This is the place to be. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. I was there to grab lunch, and the service was pretty good. I had the Shack shack burger which I only ate half and saved the other half for later cause it is huge. The inside has wildlife decor and lots of signs which is pretty cool. Definitely recommend this place.

This place is incredible. If you have the opportunity to eat inside, it’s like a tour of all of Maine in one piece. If you are a salad lover, order Chicken Oriental Salad, oh my God you will love it. delicious pizzas and burgers. It is a good restaurant in Fort Kent.

A really cute place nicely decorated withe tree stumps for seats at the bar, hunting lodge type look inside . The food quite good some of the best poppers (with cream cheese) I have had in awhile. The stromboli i had had a crust that was pretzel-like very cool. Try it.

First time here at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely loved the natural wood tables. The bases looked like they were made from either roots of trees or from branches. What a unique look that fit in beautifully with the region. I also loved the lighted tree in the center of the room.
I ordered a sauteed chicken sandwich that was out of this world. I believe it was called The Dozer. I gotta tell you, it was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the food served piping hot. I will definitely be back next month when I’m in the area.

Finally had an opportunity to stop here and I’m glad we did. We had a fish burger that was cooked perfectly on very fresh and tasty bread. The decor is fun especially the tables made from wood burls and stumps, and the waitress was very sweet!

We stormed Mooseshack II with 25 women’s college soccer athletes at around 5:30, completely overwhelming them. The locals were very tolerant and patiently shared their treasure with us.
The courage these people showed! We were all fed high quality meals. Considering the size of their establishment, they did an outstanding job.
If they weren’t 6hr away, I’d go there at least once each week!
These people deserve your patronage!

The food is good. Everything is made fresh so it’s not the best for a “quick” bite. The Steak and cheese pizza is awesome. The atmosphere is laid back and the decor is unique and rustic. The tables are made of old slabs of trees which are gorgeous. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

This is a quaint little place right in the heart of Fort Kent. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Not too doughy, great flavors, & perfect slices. The staff are really nice and the food is not expensive. I look forward to frequenting this eatery more often.
