Located beside Fort Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill was once a penny arcade in 1951. Soldiers and local patrons would enjoy a cold beer and sandwich. And they still do! In 2005, Moose and Pam purchased the property that was once known as Mt. Spring Inn and renamed it Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill. In 2010, a complete transformation took place. We wanted to create an atmosphere where everyone could go, relax and feel like they’re at home, enjoy great food at a good price, sample one of our 18 cold beers on draft and have a good time with friends and family inside or on our big deck.

Let me start by telling you that the Cajun Chicken Pasta is worth every penny. This restaurant is will staffed and very busy. A popular local spot due to the proximity to the base. I visited on a warm Sunday evening and sat on the covered patio where a live band was playing. There are ample outdoor and indoor seating options. I would come here again.

A popular place among the locals. A sports bar with great food (the ribs were so tender they fell off the bone). You can dine inside or outside. The yuengling beer is delightful (and a $2.30 a bottle)! A definite must if you are in search of tasty food and a good drink.

Food was good. Crab dip appetizer. Chicken bacon ranch cheese w fresh tomato was tasty. Garlicky mashed potatoes were awesome. Wait staff was efficient and friendly even though they were quite busy! It’s a bit noisy which is the only reason for a 3 for atmosphere- just from the acoustics of the dining area.

We were down this way for a concert at Hershey Park and was recommended to check it out. We were glad we did. We sat outside cause it was a beautiful day ( they offer indoor and outdoor seating). They didn’t even blink an eye when we asked to be moved to a table w better shade. They have a full bar with a very nice selection of Tap Beer. The food was delicious, I had the Pasta Alfredo w Shrimp and my friend had a Cheeseburger Deluxe. We enjoyed them both very much. There were many nice choices of food including appetizers if which we got cheese quesadillas (also delicious). The server was very nice and friendly. My only thought to make it better would be maybe a little more training for the servers and food runners. Having worked as a server for many years I know what it takes for Great Service. The Hostess did not tell our server we were there ( Server said this) and I had to fetch her. They were busy but it did take quite awhile to bring out drinks. Lastly when the food runners brought out the single appetizer to our table she did not bring appetizer plates w her (she definitely needs to do this). I had to catch our server to ask for some. All that aside it was a great atmosphere and wonderful food. Highly recommend!!

Great place to swing by and easy enough to get on and off I-81. The mac and cheese was very good, as were the ribs. I’d recommend both to any passersby and I liked the idea of the daily/nightly specials. We also tried the loaded fries appetizer, but it felt like it was lacking something to really pull it together (maybe jalapeños or some pulled pork?). The outside dining area also had a great setup, so ask for seating out there if the weather’s nice!

This place was a spontaneous stop. Knew nothing about it. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. If we had decent service at the bar I’d give it at least 4. The bartender was not very attentive. To busy talking to the staff and taking carryout orders and waiting on everyone but us. We got burgers and they were good, but to much bread to meat ratio. We got the sourdough bread burger and probably should have gotten a regular bun. Dont get me wrong the bread tasted great. All in all we liked the menu and will try it again sometime. It’s worth a stop.

The food is excellent. The problem is the service. Never come without a reservation, it is always full. I waited 5 mins for a Guinness as there was only one bartender. I ordered a soup and fries and waited nearly 40 mins before asking the bartender to check for me. They come out and not two minutes later, the main entree, which was listed as taking 30 mins or more, comes out as well. What I was expecting to be a pleasant 2 hour dinner, turned into a 40 min wait and a 40 min chow down as I tried to enjoy everything hot. The real disappointment is that this is the same state as last year. From what I could tell the owner had made no improvements either to accommodate more people or to get more staff. This may be popular with the regulars, but I would tell passerbys to keep on driving.
