Newbie Alert.. I have ridden by this place hundreds of times. I decided to stop by today to check it out. How cute. It is like a touristy spot in the middle of the state. What is Huckleberry you ask?? Well like blueberry but sweeter. Soo many nice treats for sale here in addition to the food menu.
Be careful as you may ride right by, it’s a house on a hill. Parking is in the back and on the side.

Great food. Many good options to choose from. My wife and I enjoyed our food. The service was attentive and friendly. They have a sense of humor and a family oriented vibe. The theme and decorations inside reminded us of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont New England vibes. We will be back!

The smell from the parking lot had my mouth watering and I knew the burgers were gonna be great. We were here from out of town and if we are ever in the area again another visit will be in place. Popcorn was very tasty and a nice surprise. The Huckleberry sauce with the goat cheese was a perfect pairing. Also the cheese sauce was really good on the fries.

I came here with friends. It is a small but cozy place with about 5 tables and a row of stools along a bar. I ordered a cheese burger and sweet potato fries. Both were delicious. Super friendly service.

Amazing burgers and service! Definitely worth the visit whether you’re passing by or from the area, this is THE spot to get yourself a burger. Kid friendly so bring the kiddos 🙂 they do have a gluten free bun options as well if you’re gluten free.

Went to Moose’s Burgers this past Sunday, and I gotta say I’m very pleased! It’s a nice and cozy place for some artisanal burgers and all the comfort food anyone can ask! The inside makes you feel like your in a warm winter New England home, ready for the holidays, ir simply a good night out with the best of friends! It was also my friend’s birthday that night, and having live entertainment from Denise Jones and Inner Groove was a nice touch! 10/10 I recommend Moose’s for everyone visiting Connecticut, it’s so delicious, and it’s a great time!

alright listen up. i got a double cheeseburger with onion rings and chili. they did mess up not giving me a second patty but when i pointed it out they were gracious and took some off the bill, which was very nice. prices are a bit high though, and it’s a burge comparable to a chilis burger which is the same price for more value, but goddamn the sides were so good it kinda makes you forget, this gets my Oliver seal of approval in quality, but not my Oliver seal of approval in price. 8.2/10

All I can say is WOW! Carrie and Darrell have outdone themselves-this place is fantastic! I got a mushroom Swiss burger with the black garlic mayo, Jaime got the “black and blue” (Gorgonzola and bacon) and Ellie had the Mac and cheese. All FANTASTIC! The fries were well done, crisp and fresh, med rare burgers. If I could give more stars I would!

Found this place after hiking some trails in the area, and absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic, you could tell that everything was made fresh! The service and atmosphere were also great. If i’m in the area again I will definitely go back!
