First impression if this establishment.
Very clean when I came in. The hostess was extremely nice and friendly. Waitress, I do not believe she said her name, she was nice but didnt give me a moment to look at the menu before asking if I needed more time (I just was seated).
I ordered the Fried Deviled Eggs with bacon jam. I was extremely excited about, I LOVE deviled eggs….that bubble was popped. The looked decent but the jam was more like maple syrup with pieces of bacon in it….the Devil egg was sooo bland….no flavor in the batter, the egg mix ontop just tasted like mashed yolk no flavor in it….and the white was like chewing on rubber…I couldn’t finish them (comes in 6… I ate 2 just to see if it was a fluke).

My main dish was a Ruben with a side of sweet potato fries. The Ruben was perfect. Bread toasted perfectly, not soggy, perfect amount of dressing, the saukraut was crisp, corned beef amazing. 10/10 recommend this sandwich

Now the sweet potato fries…. it was cute they were in a tiny fry basket but they were way over cooked…. if you like them like that go for it but as waffle fries they are suppose to be softer, not crunch/chewy. 2/10

My wife and I came in here yesterday after having an MRI done next door. We were both super hungry. My wife ordered the classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, and I ordered the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was fantastic. Our server was cheerful and attentive. We will definitely come back here when we are in the area.

First time here as Moose and Oak, cool spot, love the long bar and all the TVs, and the entire atmosphere in general, but our booth was wayyyy too dark, I could barely see my food. The picture I attached I had to use a flash. Needs a hair more light to eat.

Food:
I ordered a $26 12oz ribeye. Color and sear was off and honestly it looks air fried. It tasted okay and temp was perfect for me but if I was some steak snob I’d turn it away. Seriously, I’m pretty sure it was broiled (which is fine) but I find that most people don’t like that style of cooked steaks, and at least sear it to make it look like it was on a grill. Mac and cheese was queso mac and cheese, and if I would have known that, I would have gotten a different side (it didn’t say that anywhere on the menu). The taste on the mac was terrible—they could easily just stick to cheese and milk without all the Rotel or whatever canned diced peppers/tomatoes are in it that made it spicy and taste like school lunch food. Mashed potatoes were extra basic but okay. Wings were the worst of all. My boyfriend said he would rather have Pizza Hut wings and said they also tasted airfried.

Overall, my takeaway from this experience is that the place is good, the service is good, the food is not good and makes it not worth the price. Recipe overall is needed. My opinion ‍♀️

Same vibe from the last sports bar that once was. Not much has changed, but the food is good if you’re looking for some good ol american sports food. Customer service was on point, Ryleigh was very attentive and got the orders done for everyone within a timely manner. If you’re a Espresso martini, you have to the Guinness Espresso Martini, it is now my favorite martini. Ryleigh will hook you up.

Okay – i had a Reuben & it was awesome. My wife had fish & chips (we are seafood snobs; American & British) and the fish was coated in a bit of a mushy, thick batter that made it less than desirable. She did eat the fish by itself. We are absolutely not consumers of Mexican corn, but I know we aren’t fans – it might be dynamite, but we’re ignorant. A third with us had fried shrimp – I hate to say it, but it was nearly burnt. I would absolutely recommend the sandwich & the atmosphere was fun, just hope the food improves, for their sake.

Cat the bartender is AMAZING! she made the best margarita and was so attentive. Food was great too! Sit at the bar if you can, the floor wait staff is a little slow.

This casual restaurant looks great. It has a nice layout that is not crowded. Service was very attentive and helpful. The food was mediocre. The deviled eggs are interesting, but we did not find them tasty. The texture was rubbery with little whipped yolk. The fish sandwich is a good portion. However, the fried fish was too greasy. It’s a shame because the fish itself was good and flaky.

Great family, fun, neighborhood atmosphere! Did I mention the food and drink specials were amazing! It was so good we dined in two days in a row! The burger egg rolls, fried pickles, spicy ones, crispy deviled eggs and pulled pork fries were so delicious and cooked to perfection! The house made burger sauce was absolutely incredible! You definitely will not be disappointed! We can’t wait to go back again!

I got the 12oz ribeye with fries and mac & cheese.
The mac & cheese was just macaroni in queso.. not even kidding. It had the peppers. It was also really watery.
The steak was not worth $26. It had no seasoning, super fatty as in more fat than there was meat yet somehow was cooked unevenly. The fat was just flavorless mush. Parts of it were well done and super dry while other parts were still over cooked and not dry.
The fries had some seasoning and I liked them in general but would like more seasoning.
I liked our waiter but there’s nothing special about the place, it’s a bar so my expectations were low yet somehow I was left feeling like I wasted my money.

Went in for lunch and cocktails with my sister and parents!! Everything was excellent. Had a nice chat with the owner (Edgar)! We’re super excited to have a new hangout in Woodforest!! The Guinness espresso martini was DELICIOUS! The salad was HUGE, the pulled pork tacos were flavorful, and the fries were perfectly crispy! Kim our waitress was super kind and bubbly! We will be returning customers!
