Moose and Mollie’s was established in 2011 on Main Street, Roanoke, Indiana. In 2014, we expanded to a larger location at 171 E. 2nd Street. Our location allows Moose and Mollie’s the opportunity to offer a delicious lunch menu, full espresso bar, tasty pastries, soft serve ice cream, and 14 amazing gelato flavors. This charming café features an up-cycled farm theme complete with tractor seat bar stools and aged barn wood accents.

Stopped by with my son for some desert after our dinner. He got the Gelato cone and I went with a slice of apple pie. Definitely not store bought and had large cut apples. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for the first time and will be back soon! Quiche was great and my coffee was better! Prices are well worth it as well in comparison to other places you could end up (large special request made latte & quiche barely over the $10 mark) Always prefer to support local! If you haven’t, give this place a visit. Great layout and decor also. Thank you to the very pleasant staff – See you again soon!

Went here for first time. Got the chicken club sandwich with chicken and ham. Did not have them add the turkey. I picked potato salad as my side. I also got the Cajun chicken soup. The food tasted great, the atmosphere was great and the worker was knowledgeable and kind. I also got an unsweetened iced tea, but then sweetened it with sugar; not sure why i didn’t just get sweet tea. Lol. Tried the red velvet Gelato which was really good as well. If there was one thing to improve on it would be the potato salad. I think it needed something to give it a little zing to take it to the next level. Maybe a little sweet pickle relish or a spicy type relish. Very pleasant experience. Plan to visit again.

Second time visiting and really enjoy the gelato/sorbet! The gelato selection is 10 or 12 flavors, plus they have many baked goods and food items that we have yet to try. My boyfriend very much enjoyed his raspberry sorbet, but it did have…a hair in it. The staff inside was not wearing gloves/hairnets, which we did realize after the fact upon noticing the hair in the sorbet. It didn’t deter us completely, but thought it was worth noting. The red velvet gelato was good, but not what I expected at all. They do offer samples, which I opted out of, but this selection tasted more like a strawberry shortcake? It tasted less like chocolate and more fruity, plus it has unexpected granules inside that tasted like tiny cookie/cake grains – it was not supposed to have that as far as I was aware. I will not be getting that one again, but did enjoy eating the rest of it. Will be coming back I’m sure!

We love to come in here after the park. There’s a little something for everyone. The gelato is delicious, but do not pass up what is in the glass case. I don’t know what the put in their cookies, but they better never stop. They’re SO good . Also, they have matcha here which I really appreciate. Also, the inside is so cute. We always play checkers every time we stop by. It’s a wonderful tradition for us now.

Stopped in for coffe ( and a cake) while driving through the town. Coffe was very good (and very hot for those who prefer it that way – I had to ask for ice). All was good except the 2% surcharge added to my bill for a credit card payment. IMHO, wrong approach. Price in the cc fee if necessary and discount those that pay in cash. Probably will not be returning.

First time here and won’t be the last. I had a gelato (chocolate with peanut butter cookie dough) and it was wonderful. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Very cozy and fun!
