We stopped in here after hiking around Red Rocks. We split some deluxe nachos and had a couple margaritas. Everything was great! They even had a moose mount on the wall. Server gave us some complimentary “moose milk” at the end of our happy hour visit! I would definitely return if I’m in the area!

Have been a couple times and every time The food has been phenomenal. Basically my favorite spot this side of the rocky mountains! The staff work hard and make the atmosphere just as good as the food. If you haven’t tried the moose milkshakes is worth the drive just for the moose milkshakes Alone. Overall a perfect score and would recommend everyone try this place out.

We called in our order for pickup and had such a great experience at Moose Hill Cantina! When we arrived, the customer service was really good – the staff were so kind and generous. There was a small discrepancy with our order, and they went above and beyond by giving us a free chocolate cake, which was absolutely divine and melts in your mouth!
The chips were absolutely amazing – perfectly crispy and fresh. We ordered the white queso to go with them and it was really good, definitely recommend!
For my main course, I got the supreme nachos with steak and shrimp and WOW – they were incredible! The combination was perfection and the portion was generous. We also tried the taco salad with chicken and it was delicious. Everything was so flavorful and fresh.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that has both amazing food AND exceptional customer service. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the Lakewood area. We’ll definitely be back!

Immediately after we sat down, we were greeted with a warm bag of chips and salsa.
I ordered the steak fajitas which was a healthy serving portion. The steak was tender and well seasoned.

Yum yum yum! My husband and I drive over 30 miles on a regular bases to enjoy us some Moose Hill Cantina! We havent had anything bad here but we come for the enchilada sauce! They have good Margaritas too and I enjoy their Moose Milk!! Highly Recommend!!

There are a few good things about Moose Hill Cantina. The vegetarian / vegan green chili is really good! It’s a tasty addition to a burrito. I highly recommend it. There are also vegan options, and currently both the black beans and the refried beans are vegan. They have dairy-free cheese as well. There is also a kids and seniors menu as well as a few American Food basics that work for fussy parents. Usually fairly easy to get a table as well.

This place has Tex Mex and authentic Mexican vibes that really sets the mood. As soon as we sat down, we ordered drinks, and they brought out chips with delicious salsa.
I had the hard shell tacos with beans and rice. The tacos were packed with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. They were fresh and absolutely scrumptious!
My partner ordered the carne asada fries, which she described as crispy with perfectly melted cheese.
The service was excellent. Our drinks were constantly refilled, and we never had to ask for anything. Everything was just right!
We’ll definitely be back!

Coming to Denver for a couple of days of meetings, I was in the mood for sam. Great Mexican food. The reviews I read and my meeting location brought me the Moose Hill Cantina for lunch. It was mid-afternoon, so pretty quiet, and the service was very fast and very friendly. It seems that, since I live in Florida, it’s hard to find green chili on the menu in many Mexican restaurants where I live. So, I ordered the green chili enchiladas. They were, well, okay. In my view, they used way too much cheese, and the flavor was just so so. I truly appreciate it. They’re offering of chips and salsa and condiments upon arrival. The pico de gallo is homemade, and it is excellent. I will definitely give this place a second chance next time I’m in the neighborhood. Again, the service in the atmosphere was terrific!

We have been coming here for years and the food has always been so yummy. My only complaint was my onion burrito. Hoping it was just an off night. They always bring Moose milk to finish your meal. Holy WOW that is so good

The restaurant is great! I loved the decorations and the staff was very nice. I think they might benefit from standard portion sizes for example I ordered the mahi mahi tacos and I got a ton of lettuce and not enough rice. My friend got the pork carnitas and they were kind of soupy/lot of sauce.
