I have ordered the jerk wings at least 30-40 times with no complaints. Last night either there is a new cook or new wings but they were absolutely horrible. Very little meat on the bones and the meat that was on the wings was barely edible. Gooey & gross and I cooked them in my oven as well….. Whatever is diff you need to switch back. Won’t be ordering again. Woke up with a horrible stomach ache. Disappointing when I recommend yall to everyone. Quality last night was NOT THERE. 2/6/26

This is an Obvious Go To Spot for Soul Food as there were Cars a Plenty out and No Parking Lot. I Ordered The Baby Back Rib Dinner W/ Mac n Cheese, and Greens, And I Figured can’t have Greens W/Out Potatoe Salad. The Ribs were Tender Falling Off The Bone, and the Greens Were Great, The Mac n Cheese was nice and CHEESEY, The Cornbread was Good too……Sweet Like Jiffy. But that “POTATOE” SALAD”…..Could Taste the Celry, Onions, and Sweet Relish……I Wiil be going Back……And i Did the Following Weekend. Got the OXTAIL’S. OMG …..They We’re Falling off the Bone, and Seasoned PERFECTLY!!!! NO CAP……GO GET THESE OXTAIL’S…..HOWEVER, They only served on SUNDAYS, But Well Worth it.

Ok this is what happened with moores!we ordered 2pot roast dinners thought it was last week or before FOOD was hard and tough&tasted old I called and spoke to Gina I ask if they had new cooks she said no the same one.I said this was not good she said what do you wanna do? I said well what do u think she says ok well ill give you a free dinner I said I bought 2 my mom which is 105 yrs old is complaining as well so she said she would put my name on the WALL I should have asked for my money back anyway I called two days ago to get my replacement meals and she did NOT HONOR her word said it was a week pass the EXPIRATION!I said u never said anything about an expiration date( JUST MAKING UP STUFF AS YOU GO) I WAS SO ANGRY I said okay Gina and hung up K IS MY SISSIE and I asked her to leave this review for our family because as much money as we spend here weekly im talking five dinners at a time well moving forward we will drive all the way downtown to URBAN SOUL FOOD WHERE THERE IS CONSISTENCY!!! Okay so I ordered a turkey chop dinner with Mac n cheese and sweet corn I ordered a meatloaf dinner with candied yams and mash. I got a peach cobbler on the side. I really don’t do reviews but I had to do this one because I spent $53 dollars on sugar. The sweet corn is definitely a no for me (FOR ME!) it’s too sweet entirely the mash potatoes taste boxed the meatloaf was very salty for some reason the cornbread has no effort at all. The Mac is okay. The turkey chops are good fried not smothered I got both. The peach cobbler is good the candied yams are good as well (sweet as well but it was a good over sweet). Customer service was nice she wasn’t rude like google reviews made her seem she said yall call & just don’t know what yall want. Over all I rate the place a solid 6❤️ it cost too much and the food doesn’t taste like the price at all. Not really a waste of money but I could’ve went somewhere else far as in taste.

MooreSoul Food catered an event at our work. This food was amazing; we had wings, catfish, greens, Mac, stuffing, and sweet potato pie. They even worked though my order on their day off! Everyone was so nice and helpful, they carried the food to my car. I just can’t say enough about how delicious everything was. Everyone at work loved it too!

01-28-2026 This restaurant made a post on Facebook but was closed. Approx 3pm I drove there for nothing. I did call first, no answer. Google showed they were busier than usual, so I assumed they had a lot of customers and couldn’t get to the phone, decided to go and order in person. No one was there. No sign taped to door, no voicemail indicating closure. That’s just bad business

First time placing a pickup order. Ordered Whole wing meal: 5 pcs fried wings, mashed potatoes w/gravy, corn and roll.
Received: 5 fried wings ( dark with burnt smell), mashed potatoes without the gravy( potatoes too salty to eat, whole kernel corn( too much sweetness added) and a burned on the bottom price of cornbread ( ordered a roll).
I call the restaurant to tell them about my order and the response I got was, ok. Never even offered me a new and correct meal.

Revisited after a year, thanks to the referral from The Hungry Black Man. Got a baked chicken dinner and smothered pork chops dinner. I say this with best of intentions: Everything is so flavorful, tender, and cooked well but you all have to lighten up on the salt, please! Two dinners half eaten due to heavy salt on the pork chops, greens, and green beans. I’ll will visit again. Hopefully I can enjoy my whole meal.

My BFF and I were up visiting from Cincinnati. Found them on Google. The menu and photos looked amazing. After reading the reviews I was sold. Plus it’s located .7 miles from her cousins house. Winning!!! They’re really nice and even called me when the food was ready since there was a small wait time. I ordered the half chicken which came with 2 sides and corn bread. I chose the loaded mashed potatoes, green beans and potatoes and added an order of collard greens. She had the wings dinner with 2 sides cornbread and we shared the greens. I’m glad we ate there and we will be back next time we’re in town! This is the first having food look just like the online and menu photos. That chicken melted in my mouth. I slept for 3 hours. Before heading home to Cincinnati. That food sure did soothe my soul!!!

The food is AWESOME, but customer service can level up a little. The atmosphere can be a little intimidating because there are always people hanging out in front of the establishment.
