As my adventures across the country continue, as I continue to seek that place that fulfills my need for great food and a great atmosphere, I’ve found a place that hits that place inside that needs the right food at the right place from the right people!
I’ve found too many times over the years that most places that call anything BBQ tend not to do more than put some sauce or liquid smoke on something and call it that. Not the case here, this place puts in the time and effort required to make Real BBQ! It’s meats that have been smoked low and slow to make them right! Yes, they have the sauce as well, but that’s just added flavor after the real gem gets to you, real BBQ!
We chose the option that gave us several types of meat and 3 sides, as well as ordering another side, an appetizer, and some amazing cheesecake! Burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket… coupled with street corn, okra, sweet potato fries, and smoked mac-n- cheese. The appetizer we picked was fried pickles.
Most of the meats had more moisture than usually found at a BBQ restaurant and the flavors were exceptional! We all enjoyed the sides and the cheesecake was a to-go option for us. Loved that smoked mac-n-cheese, probably more than most!
Did I mention that it’s a family-run place inside an old church?
Hospitality was exceptional as well.
With everything that the 3 of us ordered, it was still only $60 and that makes this place even better than what I’ve already written!
It’s worth stopping by this place! We’ll certainly be back again!

Unique atmosphere since it is in a Lutheran Church which happens to be the oldest church in town. A party of five the best meal was a pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast with cheddar cheese. I had a half a rack of ribs that the meat was tender but not very smoky. My son had the burn ends which we don’t think were true burn ends they were tender but not very crispy. They had smoked cabbage on the menu and I had great expectations for it but it was just average.

Twice cooked potato casserole has a slightly smoked flavor, but that could be the bacon or cheese on top. They are so good that I found myself craving this the day after. Mac&cheese was so cheesy, and awesome, pulled pork so good, very tender. I’ve never liked ribs before… but these…the meat just slides off…and the flavor was so good, I didn’t need sauce. If you get a chance order those sweet potato waffle fries, oh my gosh, these were the bomb!!! I forgot to mention the cheesecake…yes, I had to …and it was perfectly amazing!

Brand New BBQ Eatery so it will have its growing pains till they get everything down pat and things run smooth. As for the food??? It was off of the chain. It was very good. The ribs were perfect. Sweet smoky flavor and melt in your mouth. Brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, awesome bark, plenty of moisture and a great wood smoke taste.
All the fixens from the Beans to the smoked Cabbage to the fried pickles only complimented a already wonderful meal.
Thank You Pitmaster Moore and staff at Moore Daddy’s BBQ for putting forward a great meal at a great price. We will be back.

This restaurant has only been open to the public since 6-1-22. I think the owner and staff are doing a phenomenal job of rolling with the punches of starting a new restaurant whilst still maintaining quality food, good portions and a short wait time. Everything I’ve ordered the two times I’ve been thus far have been delicious, warm, and very filling. Highly recommend checking this BBQ place out!

My absolute favorite bbq place and more! The food is flavorful and cooked to perfection. I won’t even eat at other bbq places anymore. The wings are the best wings I have ever had. These are the bourbon ones.

The loaded spud with pulled pork was amazing. I highly recommend trying this new restaurant that is opening up. BBQ is tangy and sweet, pork is smoky and not sauced and everything has great flavor. my dad ordered the burnt ends, he thought they had a great flavor, but not as much bang for your buck. I still give it a 5 star. Amazing people and good food for a soft opening. Good job.

All of the meats I tried were really good (ribs, burnt ends, brisket, and pulled pork). That was just leftovers in the fridge that I got to try so it’s probably amazing fresh. That’s pretty impressive since most places I only end up liking 1 or 2 of the meats.
Ribs were the best. Burnt ends were good. Pulled pork was good and better with some extra BBQ sauce. Brisket was good and I normally don’t like brisket.

I’ll be blunt here. The owner/chef here at Moore Daddy’s has got quite the unique style. Considering how he has handled the beginnings of any business it is safe to say that he will be around for good. Furthermore, the serving sizes are nothing to scoff at and the smoke on the food is very robust. From burnt ends to brisket, he has my money. You can drive to Nevada, Osceola for BBQ if there are minor complaints you have but why not put your money where it is well needed and done well. Local, hardworking business owners who do their jobs good need us. If you are coming through Eldo, stop there. I didn’t ask, I said… stop here. The food speaks for itself.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way home to Tulsa and we were so pleasantly surprised by the food, service, and general atmosphere. Robin was running her little tush off taking care of all of us. She was very sweet and friendly. There was live bluegrass music. It was lively but not overbearing. Housed in an old church, the stained glass, vaulted plank ceilings, and velvet ropes made for a very cool space. We shared the All Yeah sample plate with a little bit of everything: burnt ends, pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. Our sides were the smoked beans, tater casserole, and elote. We also ordered a side of toast and the fried pickles. All of the meat was delicious. Not over smoked and tender as can be. A little on the drier side, but we didn’t mind it. I wish we had more occasions to drive through El Dorado so we could visit again.
My husband says their slogan should be “House of the Lord. Home of the ‘Cue.” Y’all can have that one for free. Thanks!
