$2 beer you got to be kidding me!!
Nice little riverside tavern situated between a park and a boat launch. It seemed popular with some friendly locals, and they had a pool table and two excellent dart boards!
We sipped a few cold ones, then took a fast ride on the Illinois River.

Two other people walked in for lunch and ordered food. Sat there for 30 minutes and found out the order was never put in. Bar tender came to me and said let see if I can get this one right. Again sat for 20 minutes no food. She didn’t put my order in either. One guy came in and took one bite of his burger and left. I will not be back. The bartender seemed really out of it. Running into the counter and just different. Rough night maybe. Wishing her the best with any struggles but damn very disappointed.

I enjoyed this location…it is right on the river so if you eat outside then you have a nice view. I dined inside as I was with a larger group. They need more tables inside, so hopefully, the next time I go, they will have more dining options inside. Service was great even though the bartender was having to play waitress, as well. I only did 3 stars for food just because I had a burger and fries. Overall, I enjoyed the place and will go back again. I can definitely see this as a destination for the spring and summer crowd.

Update: Nice place to relax for an affordable drink. They are doing a good remodeling job. I’d like to see a bit larger selection of liquors. The beer is cold and priced right. Food is quite good. I would say you will get good value for your money. Great chicken sandwich, large piece. Wings are decent sized too. Not like some places that serve those really small wings. You’ll get good size wings here. We’ll worth a try.
