Came on a Saturday night while a live band was playing, I ordered a Long Island ice tea and they did not hold back on the liquor which is preferred. My server Carlee was very present in our interaction and she offered to get me the menu and set up a tab. I changed seats due to me being by the door and she continued to check on me though the night. I didn’t order food and just wanted to enjoy the environment. I was surprised by my visit and had a good time. There is also a room designated for pool and games etc. The tvs had different channels so you could choose to watch tv as well. Even the security guard KB was very welcoming and checked on me as well. I must say this this establishment will become a norm going forward for leisure.

Great local hang-out. The food is amazing and the drinks are strong! The bands they book are always so good! The service is great and there’s plenty of entertainment. There is a giant projector screen for UGA football, darts, video golf, slots, and a large billiards room. We always have a great time here.

The food and service is wonderful! Jennifer was our server, and she is fabulous! What a sweetheart with a beautiful smile! My husband and his best friend enjoyed playing pool. I highly recommend Moonshiners for a fun time! We will definitely be back!

Contemplated give a 3 or 4 stars but ultimately gave 4 strictly because our waitress Carlee was absolutely amazing . Very helpful, friendly, patient (we noticed a few customers seeming off and she handled it very well), and attentive. The food wasn’t bad , but you could tell instead of it being freshly made food it was packaged frozen food. Would suggest not getting the corn, since it was frozen and they grilled it, let’s just say it was pretty nasty. This place offers a lot of potential for sure and has a humble atmosphere. Don’t go by the menu on the website because they do not offer a lot of what is on there, its a smaller version. My husband and I enjoyed our evening and will probably be back.

Ive been here before and love live music. However the live music is way too loud. Literally yelling attempting to conversation with our party. Tonight, When I asked the waitress if they could turn it down, she said yes it’s too loud because she has to scream to talk to everyone, and said I could go talk to the sound person. I asked for a manager and she said there was no manager working. It should not be a patrons responsibility to ask for the volume down just enough to communicate with your party. I’m at dinner, not a concert.

Stopped here for appetizers after work. They have pool tables, poker tables, darts, variety of beers, full bar, and extensive menu. Our server was nice, attentive. Their chicken fried steak and Flatbread pizza was good and had plenty of toppings, not sparse like other restaurants.

The burger was delicious, the fried mushrooms were good but needed some seasoning along with the fries, too. My son got the meatballs, he liked being able to pick the flavors, interesting concept! Hubby got the turkey grilled cheese with soup, he said it was good, too.
Our waitress was friendly but I am assuming they were short staffed today as it was slow getting refills and the check. She was knowledgeable of the menu and tastes, very patient with us deciding what to get, which was much appreciated!

I Came here to meet up with some friends. It was a good time. The bartender was nice and attentive. The food was pretty good. I had a few drinks and the overall price was good. Nice country ambience with some karaoke. I will definitely return here in the future.

First time trying Moonshiners and was impressed by the food. Their ranch dressing is homemade and is great on their Buffalo chicken tacos. My husband got the burger with an egg on it and loved it. He said the egg was cooked just right to make a sauce for the burger. He also got their Mac and cheese and said it tasted homemade. We will be going back. We were to early for the live music they have on Friday nights but we plan to attend one of those evenings.
