Starting on the positive note, the server, Lily was attentive and gave great suggestions. Wonderful service from her. The food was good. Fried pickles are thick and thick batter, but good. Brisket sandwich was dry but a little more sauce would have made it great. Fries are amazing. On the negative note, the hostess operation could run much smoother. Customers were not priority over phone usage and talking. I won’t go any further with details but definitely something they can work on. Lily is the reason for 4 stars!

Concept of the place is pretty cool, but the drink I ordered wasn’t that great sat up at the bar waiting to be brought to my table until after my food came out. The ribs I ordered had potential but they had a bit too much charring on them that detracted from their flavor. It’s very possible you could have a better experience. These were fairly fixable items.

I had such a great experience here! I ordered the combination platter with chicken bites, sweet corn nuggets, and hush puppies, and everything was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside and tender inside. The flavors were amazing, especially the hush puppies, which were golden and soft. I also tried a peach cosmo, and it was so refreshing and delicious — the perfect drink to go with the meal. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Great restaurant in Dunn! The service was very quick and friendly. It was clean and appealing on the inside and it wasn’t loud. We started with the fried Brussel sprouts which were awesome. I got the Guys Big Dog with fries and ranch, large portion and it was great! My husband got the Bootleg burger with sweet potato fries and he enjoyed it. We finished with the Grilled Peach Cake and enjoyed every bite. This place always seems to have cars in the parking lot and it’s easy to see why they are doing so well. So happy to have a great restaurant so close by.

Love the food and atmosphere. Belly Mac is great, but I find the sweet BBQ overpowering so I order it on the side. Love the shrimp and crab dip, wings are great both sauced and dry rub. Steak sandwiches and Philly cheese are delicious with such soft bread.

We have visited Moon Runners Saloon a couple of times in Dunn and each experience has been exceptional. We’ve enjoyed trying something different each time we have visited, and we are consistently impressed by the quality of the food.
The service is truly outstanding.
We would especially like to recognize our wonderful waitress, Miranda. She was attentive and so helpful throughout our visit. Her personable approach and attention to detail ensured that we were being well taken care of!

First time here. Food tastes great. And plenty of it. Food was cooked exactly to order. They allowed us to bring Captain Jack in to the outdoor patio area. Our waitress was over top. Made sure Jack had water to drink. Plus the bill was not to high. A must place to visit for good food.

We had such an incredible experience at Moon Runners Saloon! The food alone is worth the visit… the fried catfish was hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky and flavorful on the inside, and seasoned just right. You can tell a lot of care goes into their kitchen.
What really made the night stand out, though, was our server, Lil’ Tiff. She was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. She gave us spot-on recommendations when we couldn’t decide what to order, made sure our drinks were never empty, and checked on us at just the right times without ever feeling rushed or intrusive. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of.
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally outstanding, but this was definitely one of those experiences. If you’re looking for amazing food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service, this is the place to go!

Had a very nice experience tonight! We had finger foods, and thoroughly enjoyed the buffalo chicken dip with bread, potato skins, jumbo grilled hot wings, and their version of bang, bang shrimp!! Tried the Christmas drink menu: Pomtini in a pear tree, and it was quite delightful! Shout out to our server”Angel”—never had to guess when she would return to the table. WE LOVE MOONRUNNERS IN DUNN!!!

Th fries were good. The wings and ribs were okay. I like the wings at Pizza Hut better. This place is alright but very pricey! And you got to get large orders or none at all. I’ve not had a big appetite this week and for a small portion of ribs and wings $60+ was a bit much. O can go elsewhere and spend half that.
