It felt like pure serendipity. We had planned to celebrate our 10th anniversary somewhere else, but somehow we found ourselves at this restaurant, and we couldn’t be happier that we did.
Everything was impeccable and truly fantastic. The food and drinks were thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional: attentive, warm, and perfectly paced. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we felt genuinely welcomed and celebrated.

My mother and I love sushi and sashimi – it’s our go-to. This was our first time visiting Moonga and we will absolutely be back. We had the Spicy Crispy Tuna as an appetizer and the House Sashimi. The fish quality was remarkable. The presentation cannot be disputed. The staff is friendly, funny, and can read the room – you want to be left alone, you want to laugh, you want to drink…the staff will make lunch/jause/dinner an experience. It’s comfortable and the seating makes you feel like you’re removed from other patrons.

We really enjoyed our time at Moonga. The host is really nice and welcoming. We tried the black garlic ramen 9/10, wish there was more toppings but good flavor! My boyfriend got the spicy tan tan ramen 8.5/10, it was a unique taste but wish it could be spicer. We also got the spicy tuna roll which was a ball of rice and cut into 4, it was a little difficult to handle but really delicious. The playboy roll was also really yummy, no complaints, very very mild spice. Definitely worth a try!

Popped in craving ramen and ended up having an amazing experience! The styling and vibe of the place is minimalist decor and lively but not obnoxiously loud. We were seated quickly and ordered Tonkatsu and Shoyu ramen. The sushi bar looked tempting so we ordered one roll to try – GLAD WE DID! Some of the best ramen I’ve had.
Highly recommend – we are only in town a few days but I want to come again!!

First time in evergreen and I was looking for a solid place for dinner, which is tough when there’s so many to choose from. I ended up reading other reviews on this place and decided to give it a chance.
Chef menu expertise paid off and he chose dishes that fit my tastes but also borderlined on things that I would never have ordered.
This place has amazing food and is not your typical Americanized “Japanese” food, very little sushi. That alone was worth five stars but the service on top of that was worth another star if I could give it.

the sushi was absolutely delicious and super fresh, a little on the pricier side but it’s worth it for the quality. the sushi shefs are the sweetest and extremely skilled. they always do the most beautiful presentations, and the staff is really friendly! i really recommend this place, it’s become a favorite for my boyfriend and i and we always sit at the bar because sometimes they give you a free sample of some of their fresh fish.

My husband and i came here for date night and were thoroughly impressed. The fish was fresh. Affordable oysters. Affordable everything really. The staff were so friendly and service was great and speedy. We can’t wait to go back for anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions!

We were huge fans of the Lone Tree Moonga location when we lived there… as luck would have it.. they ended up opening a location in Evergreen shortly after we moved here! Serendipity!! Service and sushi is always top tier. Fifth visit since they’ve opened and will definitely be back!!
