We decided to drive in from CC for some seafood. This place did not disappoint. The indoor eating area is comfortable enough. It was pretty quiet when we walked in. Our server Will was nice and attentive. Food came out fast and hot. It all tasted great. Large pieces of shrimp. Appetizer was delicious. It was all so good. Only complaint was the cocktail sauce tasted like ketchup.

Very relaxed environment, great view of the bay. I had a shrimp po boy and it was delicious. It is a little more expensive then surrounding establishments. The atmosphere makes it worth it. Great place for couples or large groups. Very kid and dog friendly.

My wife and I stopped by for a pre-anniversary dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with the added bonus of being located right by the water—a perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal.
The sweet tea is freshly brewed, which was a nice touch. Although the beer tap was down and I couldn’t enjoy my usual Blue Moon on draft, they did have bottled options available. I went with a Shiner, and it was served ice cold—no complaints there.
Service was excellent. The staff kept us informed about our order, and the food arrived in just 17 minutes.
I ordered the shrimp po’ boy, and it exceeded expectations. The breading was just right, and the bread-to-shrimp ratio was spot on. I opted for sweet potato fries on the side, and pairing them with the spicy ranch instead of ketchup was a game-changer.
Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend this spot. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy good food with a view.

My wife and I recently moved here and have been to the Moondog a few times already. Relaxing atmosphere, sitting by the bay and feeling the vibe. The chicken brie sandwich is OUTSTANDING. I wasn’t sure about it at first from the menu, but something just kept calling to me to give it a try. Absolutely delicious, one of my favorite items now.

First time customers. It’s a great atmosphere, right on the boat docks. The chicken fried steak, shrimp salad, blackened red snapper were a delicious choice and generous portions.
Fast service, well prepared entrees. We happened to go on Wine Wednesday, the wine bottles were half off. One of our friends ordered a couple of Bloody Marys which he said were very good. Our waitress was good about checking back.
On a nicer day, we would enjoy the outdoor seating by the docks, it’s just part of this very nice venue.
We’ll definitely plan on going back and will highly recommend it.

The place is on the water which is nice. We were seated on the patio. They should pipe music out there for a better ambiance. There was music played inside, and it made a difference in the atmosphere. The food was good, which really redeemed this place overall. I had a margarita, and it was way too sweet. It tasted like a mix out of a bottle. They were out of many things, but we managed to find other things we liked. Our server was great.

We came in a good day. The ocean was clear and we had a good view. Staff are friendly, and the property is nice. Lots of green plants to give a relaxing vibe. The crawfish Étouffée was fantastic. Soft shell crabs are a must try. Fresh catch fish was cooked to perfection. Overall a very good seaside establishment!
