Moon Water Cafe located in the heart of Appleton Wisconsins Historic District is a lovely little boutique cafe offering more than just coffee, tea and wine. We offer a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Fresh hand made sandwiches, soups, salads, galettes, flatbreads, breakfast items like hash and a plethora of sweet treats from scones to muffins. Everything is made in house with the finest ingredients we can find. Several of our items are vegetarian and most of our soups our gluten free. Delicious sandwiches and wide variety of drinks and seating. The places makes you feel like you’re visiting someone’s house and they whipped you up a meal. There’s also a wine selection and small amount of items to purchase for gifts/trinkets.

I would have never envisioned myself ordering a sweet potato sandwich but I did and it was the best sandwich decision I have ever made. My husband ordered avocado toast and it was also delicious. Go here immediately. You will not regret it.

I adore this place from the people that frequent it to the lovely staff and owner. It’s a hidden jewel near downtown Appleton that I highly recommend visiting. Love the vibe, the beverages (try the root beer for a kick) and am eyeing the pear flatbread for my next meal.

The gluten free Breakfast Cookie was delicious. The coffee seemed watery, the flavor I ordered was a Carmel Latte. They make the latte as a pour over, steam milk and serve. It took some 21 minutes to get our order. It was our first visit and stated so the person said take your time and went off to do something else leaving us with no one to ask our Qs. The parking is minimal behind the building something like 7 spots. The seating is nice but could be a larger space to be more comfy. The pastries are made on sight.

This place is a little gem. A cute little cafe/coffee shop I never knew I needed in my life. I stopped in with a friend had some tea and bakery and if was wonderful. Regulars chat with you immediately and you feel very much at home.
The owner was welcoming and kind and ready & available to help. Scones, croissants & cookies, galore. Check the menus in my photos. I will definitely go back here when I need a moment to sit and chill, to meet a friend, or a quick snack.
