Did the menu change going into 2026? Very minimal sushi, just a handful of rolls, and apparently no nigiri. What sushi there is seems to typically be a dinner-only option as well, though I did manage to get something for lunch. The fish case at the sushi bar was very bare.
I like the space; it has some character and is generally pretty nice. Really good tom yum soup, some of the best I’ve had in a while.
I’d go back to try out more of the Thai menu, which seems to be the focus now, but the Japanese side of the menu looked very sparse.

Moon Thai & Japanese: I would come here again and again. The ambience is super cool and well-decorated and while there was some initial trouble walking in with 7 people, we were seated at a private table and had ample space for our group. Shoutout to our server, who was the most friendly, attentive and smiley person: she truly made our visit wonderful and we could feel her joy when she explained the food as it was served, answered our questions and wished our group member a happy birthday. We got the chicken satay (great flavors but small, you get 6), the steamed pork buns and 3 main dishes (chicken and eggplant, drunken noodles and green curry). All were delicious and had strong flavors, and the meat in each was tender and juicy. The best part was the Thai donuts dessert, on the house for the birthday, and the mango sticky rice. The donuts were like beignets and very soft, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect consistency and warmth. Highly recommend!

Beautiful restaurant inside. Love all the Asian deco especially the elephants. It’s a mother-daughter date. We love all the food that we ordered. I am going to take my husband here, it is a very romantic atmosphere!

Oh my goodnesssssss! Where in the world do I start? Okay, so I made a reservation for 8:30pm and was seated immediately. The greeter said something and all of the staff welcomed me, I mean ALL OF THEM! Like whattttt – it was amazing! Then, our amazing server ; EMMA, I mean honestly she was perfect! She came over and I asked her about the wine – I’m a Sauvignon blanc type of girl so she let me try their red Sauvignon before I committed, I definitely committed after that I asked for her suggestions since it was my first time – she recommended the Moon Thai wings for appetizers and I selected the Pad See Eiew with shrimp and my friend got the Duck Curry for our main dishes. The food was so good if I didn’t have decorum, I would have licked the plate we ended our meal with Mochi ice cream – I loved it but it was a little to sweet for my liking. I rate this place a 100 out of 10. The entire staff was attentive and fun – we left feeling like we knew them, they had great music playing softly in the background, the lights were dimmed to a place of perfection. There is not one bad thing I can say. The experience was an overwhelming breath of fresh air.

Whoever gives this restaurant a 1 star review is lying/hating unnecessarily. My family has been coming here for years and we’ve never had a bad experience. The staff are amazing! They greet you at the door and are so considerate of the customer. The atmosphere should honestly be more lively because the food is literally the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’ve had other places that serve chicken pad thai and it simply doesn’t compare. I want to say thank you to the manager that greeted us at our table and our waiter. I have no notes. Everything was perfect.

Family dinner for Father’s Day was great. The ambiance was intimate with smooth jazz music permeating throughout the restaurant. You can still enjoy the atmosphere, whether on a date or dining with family and friends. The server was informative and pleasant. We advised that this was our first time, and she provided her best recommendations. There is a menu for Japanese food and one for Thai food. You can mix as you choose. I had garlic shrimp with Jasmine rice, carrots,sautéed green beans, and carrots, which was delicious. My husband had chicken with cashew nut and my son had chicken teriyaki. Chicken spring rolls for appetizer was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back!

Went here with friends for Friday dinner. Ordered a couple of entrees as well as sushi rolls. The food was prepared quickly to serve.
Duck was pretty good and the portion was impressive. Great with rice. Sushi rolls were “on sale” with buy one get second one for $1. Sashimi was $4 each with descent quality. Lamp chops was flavorful as well.
If has to complain, 1) the location was a bit confusing. After parking I had to call the restaurant to ask, but fortunately they nicely guided me through; 2) our server was not familiar with the sushi roll sale and our check had everything the original price – had to ask for correction.
