A cute cafe with awesome breakfast menu. It is in a suburb of Tacoma, in a strip mall. The coffee is great and they have so many items in the menu. The portion is big, no way I can finish it all. The hash brown was crunchy and yummy. It’s a good cafe in an unexpected place. I will definitely return if I’m in the neighborhood.

I ordered the Rise Breakfast Sandwich. The English muffin was packed full with fried egg, cheddar cheese, spinach, and tomato. It had too much mayo, but loved it anyway. The waffle was tasty and crisp, but it was not served hot. So, the butter didn’t melt, but the maple syrup was warmed.

I ordered to go. Was told 25 minutes. Was there 30 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes. Frustrating. Food was good but WAY over priced. Watched 3 tables be empty the entire time I was there and watched people come in and were told 20-25 minutes wait. There were 3 servers and one hostess, so plenty of people. Just bad business. It demonstrates disrespect for customers in general. Too bad.

The environment is nice and the waitresses there are super friendly. Our waitress was Mikalen, sorry if I misspelled your name, she was sweet and put up with our extrovert chatty ways. The coffee is bold, love me a nice bold brew and only added a bit of cream to lighten up the color. The waffle is airy and delicious with the strawberries and cream. For me, not for others, the bacon was to my liking. Love me a some done bacon! No joke. For the first time tried a blackberry mimosa, was definitely a different take from an orange juice version but was delicious! Sorry for my dad in trying to barter 2 shirts for $30

a very friendly staff with great food. i got the 2 biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were fluffy and delicious. the sausage gravy was very good although i did add pepper. i also got the tropical sunrise (tropical version of a mimosa) which was very refreshing. the best thing was how friendly and attentive the staff was though. i never felt like they were coming by too much but they stopped by often to check to see if i needed a refill on my coffee or if there was anything i needed at all. i will definitely be back to try the salmon benedict.

We love coming here. We’d like to think that they consider us regulars. The cafe is always jumping. Expect a bit of a wait, and so worth it. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is quaint. This is definitely the best place in Lakewood for breakfast and brunch and lunch.
