I found this little, unassuming place while running errands in Colerain. I ordered using the recommendations of Danish Khan below. Very tasty. I also liked the chatpate, something I’d never had before. The soup momo was by far my favorite out of everything we ate.

The name of the restaurant from the street is Himalaya Restaurant but it is also known as Moon Restaurant and Bar. We had chicken monos and samosas since we only wanted a lighter lunch. Well other reviews are great but I did not get to try any food. I stopped by at 5 pm. No one was around at first. Then an older gentleman entered carry in beer boxes and said hello. Then went into the back. I heard him talking to somebody. Then pass back by and went outside. I sat at the bar studying the menu, but after a while, nobody came to ask if I wanted anything to eat or drink. Weird. I was disappointed, because I was excited to try some of the food that’s presented on the menu.

This place actually has great food and they have a small group of regular friends that hang out here and are super friendly and kind. It has the old signage still that says Himalaya Restaurant but obviously if you are reading this then you already know that. I love the standard mango lassi and I always get the chicken tikka masala. You can get it at any spice level you would like. Definitely check out this little mom and pop place. Great food, reasonably priced, and fantastic people. I come to Cincinnati to visit my daughter and we always come here. I wish them well!!!!

The food is amazing, and the jhol momo is a must-try. Their chatpate is delicious, and we tried chicken chilly momo for the first time, absolutely loved it. Definitely a go-to spot for all momo lovers.
