It’s one of the best Chinese Restaurants I’ve been to. I’ve traveled around the globe and I can say the General Tso Chicken is absolutely delicious. We get it every time we come here. Plus, we also get two Egg Rolls and an order of six Crab Rangoon. The owners are wonderful people. And their employees are amazing as well. Anyone traveling through Eleanor WV needs to stop, eat and enjoy a great meal at good prices. They have a buffet station and also a hibachi grill. Not only that but fresh sushi rolls that are much bigger than many restaurants in the area. You won’t regret your visit.

Wanted to meet a friend, DH, for lunch. However, the weather was not so good. We both decided that Chinese buffet sounded good and picked the Blue Moon Buffet or Moon Buffet (as it is called on Google maps) for lunch.
We arrived at noon and there was plenty of room, seating availability and we had our pick on seating. We both picked a booth. Before we were seated, our server asked us for our drink order. Hot tea was what we both wanted and needed.
We took our time visiting the buffet. They do have sushi and a hibachi grill, but I wasn’t into it. I did however, enjoy the soups and three plates from the buffet. The food was good and hot.

The server came by a couple of times to remove our empty plates, which I appreciated. As for me, I do like servers to either introduce themselves or wear a name badge. It just makes things more personable. Our sever was very quiet, but efficient. For a good lunch, reasonably priced. The tab was right at $30 (2× buffet and 2x hot tea, served in pots).
The lavatory was clean.
All-in-all, because of the variety of food offered, I am giving this restaurant a 4 star rating.

This is the local Chinese buffet and I really want to like it. The flavors are good but I’ve been here twice now and the food is always cold and stale. If it were fresh and hot I’d love it cause the flavors are good. Maybe I’ll try it again first thing when they open up for the day

This place used to be the best! I don’t know what happened but their quality has gone downhill drastically and they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I ordered kung pao chicken and the peanuts that were sautéed in it had an old rancid nut flavor that made the dish almost inedible, I picked out all the peanuts (which there were tons) and was able to eat it, but the dish still had a hint of the rancid peanut flavor. We also got the combination lo-mien and it wasn’t very good either, it was edible, but the garlic was so strong you couldn’t taste any other flavor (and I’m a garlic lover!!!). The steamed dumplings were delicious, egg roll tasted like it was old and had been left sitting in oil under a heat lamp for a while. Shrimp spring rolls were ok. I quit ordering the crab rangoons due to the way they make there’s are just way too sweet for me, almost taste like fried crab cheesecake they are so sweet, I know lots of ppl who like them like that, I do not. Also I asked for white rice but got fried rice. Service however is always wonderful there, they are super nice.

First off, they do have a large variety of Sushi on the buffet bar. That’s why I came. The food is always stocked and hot. A lot to choose from. It cost $23 for myself and daughter to eat at the buffet. The restaurant is huge with loads of space. You never have to wait to be seated. Your drinks are always refilled. Service is excellent. I’ve been here twice, and both times were a nice experience.

Hello Everyone this is my honest review i dont usually write reviews but tired of restaurants not careing about making people sick Me and my Boyfriend went here for the first time thought we would try it well food is cold gave both of us diarrhea same night and next day not sure if they are making food and heating it back up but restaurants who think they are saving money and making money they are also making people sick I felt bad after I ate this food he he did also even general chicken was cold health department needs to Crack down on restaurants and making things and reheating or not cooking at a safe temperature this is bad for people and make them sick

We went recently and disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it. Arrived 30 minutes after open and not a single thing on the buffet was hot. We were seat and drink orders taken, drinks dropped off. Went to eat and realized that we didn’t even have silverware. When I walked to the front the woman looked at me like I was crazy when I said I needed 3 sets of silverware and I had to explain no one bothered to give us any. Saw the waitress maybe 3 times the whole time 2 of those times were being seated and when the check was brought. This place was amazing pre Covid, and we finally got around to coming back that way to eat there and this will be the last time. I understand things happen, but 30 minutes after opening and things are like this doesn’t fare well for what to expect later.

I ordered takeout Szechuan chicken and black pepper chicken and also some shrimp fried rice(not pictured) everything tasted great the Szechuan chicken was a little spicier than I expected but still tasted good. All of it was 25$ a tad bit pricey but the portions are pretty decent

I ordered my Singapore Mein Fun, 2 Avocado Sushi Rolls, and a Quart of White Rice and it was Delicious! And the Avocado Rolls even came with some Slices in my order! I highly recommend! Thank you Moon Buffet!
