Moon Brew Coffee Co. in Rockdale is a cozy little gem. It’s perfect for grabbing a great coffee, enjoying a scratch-made pastry, and either settling in with a book or taking your drink on the go. The staff is always the sweetest. Elena and Zander took care of me the times I went in and were so warm, welcoming, and friendly.
This week’s special was The Cold Front, a wonderful wintery blend. Of course I got it iced even though it was 40°F out . As their sign says, if you have kids, your coffee is going to be cold either way! My other favorite is the iced latte with oat milk, honey, and lavender. It never disappoints.
Bonus: they offer customer punch cards so you can earn a free coffee. Love that!
If you haven’t been to Moon Brew yet, go check it out. You won’t leave disappointed ☕✨

I’m from Houston Tex, but I was visiting a friend on Thorndale, While I waited for her to arrive, I looked for a nice place to have a good cup of coffee with my daughter, and I found this beautiful, cozy, clean café. The people were very friendly, and they treated me very well! I recommend it 10 of 10. It’s my favorite place from now on, and the coffee is 100% delicious ☺️ feels like home!

Am absolutely incredible place! Elana (apologies for spelling) made an amazing drink, and she and Xander (again, apologies for spelling) were beyond friendly and gracious. I came in 20 minutes before closing and they treated my like I was the most important person around.
There was a gentleman in the place when I walked in. He had his kids with him, and they were all very well behaved. When there were done with their drinks, Elana suggested the library out back. I mean you just don’t find people who recommend other places anymore. This is a different kind of place, in the best possible way.
I’m looking forward to going back for great food and coffee, and some fun conversations.

I love this place. They’ve got great coffee and tea beverages. They’ve got cute little vendors items for sale there. Their bathroom is real nice. Rita hosted the best vision board event today. They’ve got all sorts of little events there like Open Mic night and different seasonal events. They have different musicians there from time to time. The ambiance is really cool. They’ve got a few tarot deck cards you can use if that is your thing. They’ve got good books that you can read while in there. The staff is super sweet. I will definitely be back!

This little coffee shop is the cutest place! The vibe is perfect for relaxation, zoning out on work/studies, or meeting up with friends. The coffee is phenomenal! I had an Americano with heavy whip and it was delicious. The flavor was smooth, and the temperature was perfect so I could start sipping right away without burning my tongue off! Friendly staff, and tons of options for those who like to spice things up with different flavors!

Four employees, one sleeping in the back. I was the only customer. Coffee was decent, croissant sandwich was good but very small. The three employees sat at the table next to me staring at their phones. No conversation or asking if the coffee or sandwich was okay. I’ll get coffee at 7-11 next time. And the worst thing was that I left a good tip.
