I had not been to Moon BBQ in almost 5 years. The menu had changed a bit as well as the prices. We tried beef belly, chicken gizzards, spicy pork belly, marinated short ribs, large intestine and enjoyed the steamed egg, kimchi noodles and tofu soup. Everything seemed fine until we got home. We were hit with bad tummies. I don’t think we will return.

Moon BBQ in Gardena is such a nice, cozy AYCE Korean BBQ spot! We booked here because they actually take reservations for groups over 5 people — most Korean BBQ places only accept reservations for 10+, so this was a huge plus.
The food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive. I especially loved their beef tongue and steamed egg, and the sirloin was really good too. Definitely worth the money!
Parking in the mall can get a little tight at times, but there’s always street parking nearby. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, good meats not the best but still very tasty. Service is faaaaast and they are very nice. Very small so can feel a bit cramped. Parking is not the greatest. The side dishes are great. Would definitely recommend. Walk ins of course no reservations, all you can eat!

My first time going here , valentines day weekend , i obviously expected it to be busy. no worries. we get seated and right away our server/hostess asks us if we’re ready to order and we felt rushed. didnt even ask us for drinks or anything. food came before anything else. seems like nobody wanted to help us. would probably never come here again

After coming here for many years, the meats are still always great quality and the service is top notch! My favorite cuts are the beef tongue, beef belly, and marinated short rib. The pork belly is also pretty tasty. Their sides are delicious and complement the meats very well.

Moon BBQ is an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue place! My favorite cut of meat was the spicy pork belly, and my friends favorite was the marinated beef short ribs. The spicy pork belly was tender, sweet, slightly savory, and covered with a spiciness that was perfect with their jiggly, airy, honestly one of the best AYCE steamed eggs I’ve tried. The short ribs were marinated perfectly and even if slightly overcooked it was extremely tender, smokey, sweet and delicious, my friends absolutely loved this cut of meat and it’s no wonder that it is limited to one per person. And I rarely compliment service like this but Moon BBQ had the most attentive and frequent service I’ve ever had, we probably had around 25 grill changes without asking, and our rotation of waiters would always unexpectedly come to help cut and cook our meats! (Truly thank you so much! We three boys were too scared of the barbeque fires ) Overall Moon BBQ’s service was unexpectedly amazing, their marinades are super delicious, and the next time I come I will certainly eat to my heart’s desire!

Went to Moon Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat with friends in the evening, and everything was great even the price! The food was delicious and not too salty. The meat quality was good, especially the pork belly — nicely thick and tasty. The steamed egg was also super good, soft and flavorful. Highly recommended

Got here solo and didn’t realize minimum of 2 ppl per table which is no big deal. Have to charge me twice. It was packed and it’s a small place. Parking is a pain. However the staff and especially the owner/manager was very accommodating and nice. Don’t expect a glamous buffet, or sauce bar, or veggies and such: it’s basic but good due to limit space with the place and tables. Food is great and fast. Hidden gem.

Service was fast and friendly! Decent variety of cuts in the AYCE. I’m a tall guy, and had no issue eating plenty in the time we were there.
Only issue was there was a piece of metal wire – perhaps from wire mesh cleaning – in/on the grill or meat at one point. Actual safety hazard. The server was very apologetic about it, but there wasn’t any attempt to comp or otherwise smooth the situation over. I found that a bit odd, but I wasn’t going to make a racket since it’s a busy Friday night.
We’re locals, so maybe I’ll try and go in during a slower time and talk with the manager.

Great and fast service, awesome sides, great cuts of meat. I especially love the grill they use that lets you cook the meat fast and crispy. My favorite kbbq spot by far. Really love the atmosphere. Very authentic.
