Fresh ice cream made from the milk of the cows on the farm the ice cream is made on? count me in! This place was an old fashion ice cream shop, with its rustic small town feel. They have such a wide range of flavors its hard to just pick one so we did the flight. You get 5 different flavors in about a scoop worth of ice cream each. We did the banana bread, double chocolate flake, butter pecan, cherries moobile and strawberry. All flavors were true to themselves but I do think the cherry flavor could’ve used even more cherries. My favorite was the double chocolate and the banana bread. The ice cream is well worth the price, as we left bellies full and a happy heart. This is a must stop for ice cream lovers in the area!

Moomers Homemade Ice Cream is such a great spot just outside Traverse City! They have a huge variety of flavors, and every one we tried was absolutely delicious. If you visit during the fall, definitely try the Pumpkin Spice flavor, it was my favorite and perfect for the season.
All of their ice creams are creamy, rich, and full of flavor. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular, a must-visit for any ice cream lover in the area!

As a first timer to Traverse City, Moomers was recommended to me as a must try ice cream shop. When I arrived the line was wrapped around the building but I quickly made it to the front to order! The staff were friendly and kind, and getting my ice cream was very efficient. I ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream and it was full of mini chocolate chip pieces, which was amazing! They had a wide selection of flavors to choose from which is great for a variety of customers.
The view of the pasture from the ice cream shop was such a peaceful addition to the ambiance as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Traverse City!

A true traditional ice cream shop where everything is made from scratch (literally from the cow to the milk to the ice cream). The flavors are rich, fresh, and you can really taste the quality of the milk. They offer a wide variety of flavors, and the service is excellent. Even with a long line, it only took about 5-10 minutes to place our order. I loved that they have QR codes set up in the waiting area, so by the time you reach the counter, you already know what you want. You can enjoy your ice cream in a cake cone, waffle cone, or cup, and if you want to sample more, the flight option (five flavors of your choice) is a must-try.

This ice cream was absolutely delicious. A smooth and creamy mix with fun flavors that worked very well with each other. I had the Peanut Butter Oreo and the Cherry Mobile. The PB Oreo is must for peanut butter chocolate fans. Or Parent Trap. You decide. Cute little shop on the main thoroughfare of Mackinac Island, a must stop during your stay!

A local recommended this place and it did not disappoint. They have over 90 flavors that change daily. We enjoyed the flight where you can sample different flavors. Fun atmosphere that sits on a farm. Make this a planned stop for a cool treat.
