Let me just say, I haven’t been here for the bar. I’ve been here for the food about 4 times. It’s a little pricey (like most places in VT), but it’s excellent.

The Vermonter Burger and the Stoner’s Chicken Mac and Cheese was absolutely incredible! The Stoner sauce was so delicious, my husband joked he wanted to buy a bottle of it! Moog’s had a nice atmosphere and great customer service!

Mellow grateful dead vibe, surprisingly sophisticated and tasty menu with a Cajun slant. I appreciated that I could get a great lager (jacks an MA beer) on tap. Nice meal. We sat just inside the porch to stay out of the sun, but the porch would be great. Service was prompt and friendly and there were several on duty – we were there early on a Wednesday for what that’s worth

We got there early and were the only people in the dining area. By the time we left the room was pretty much filled up. We were in and out before the music started so can’t comment on that. We were on a skiing vacation and were never in that area before so this was a one off visit. Our experience was very good. The server was helpful and friendly and when she was busy an guy came by to give us water and check on us I don’t know his role but it was nice to have the attention. The food was good.

Horrible service. Took well over an hour to get our food. There was only two people working there. Other people were complaining too. When our food came out, the food was cold and the order was wrong. We couldn’t tell anyone because there was no one checking on us. We figured we’d just cut our losses. Had to find someone to get the check and we told them what happened. They didn’t care. No offer to make anything right. Guess they can’t find good help these days.

Okay, if you’re late to my last review, my sincerest apologies. I just had my first Moog’s 2023 experience, and so far, so good. The music and band that played was absolutely amazing, I was a little rushed out and didn’t get a chance to connect but as a musician that plays the trumpet this group hit home and spoke to the soul. As always, the artwork that’s usually for sale is always entrancing, soothing, and sometimes, thoughtful. My drinks and service were pretty decent, especially after a long 12-hour shift at work. If you haven’t tried out Moog’s yet, you really need to, and if you have and weren’t satisfied, give them another try. Things are feeling like the place I used to love and enjoy. The owner, Tom Moog, has always been a pleasure and very reasonable every encounter I’ve experienced, even some hard ones. No pun intended, considering there’s hard drinks involved, lol. They definitely deserve a 4 or more, let’s see as time progresses.

Food I had was ok, but that was because I thought I was getting a different cut of meat, wife loved her food, it is a good place and service was great but a little pricey

Always worth the stop. Live music on a random Monday night!? I love how often Moogs books artists. Good food, beer, and people.

Small Town feel with big meals! I got the fish and chips and the cod was the single largest piece of fish I’ve ever been served. Good beer, great atmosphere
