This was the best lamb wrap I’ve had in Portland. I don’t often order lamb wraps because I’ve often been disappointed. However this time is was made just the way it should be. Very juicy and the sauces complimented it as they should, where in the past it’s either been too spicy or not spicy enough. I was also very impressed with the portion which was much more than I expected and the fries were very crispy and well seasoned. The service was very friendly and he took his time to make sure that everything was cooked properly. I will be returning to this cart the next time my wife is craving authentic middle eastern food inshallah.

Owner operated, he’s so friendly and generous portions. The picnic tables are clean and there’s fencing from the sidewalk so it feels safe.

Girlfriend doesn’t like pickles, but she loved theirs. Food tasted fresh & homemade & portion sizes were amazing. Despite the homeless in the area, which makes the atmosphere 3/5, I’m definitely coming back again overall 4/5.

I live very close to this place, so I do frequently eat here! For a few years now! I’ve been getting their “beef plate” every time I order, because it’s a huge portion, the food is decent,& just one beef plate, makes enough for 3 meals for just me. Basically it’s a Gyros that isn’t put together yet. They put all of the required fixings, on the plate for you to assemble it yourself!
Anyway……..I ordered my usual “beef plate” a few days ago, & was very disappointed to see that it had been changed from the usual beef that they’ve always used in this dish before (roast or steak, or something like that) to something they had NEVER served in it before!
It definitely was NOT an upgrade I’d like to specify!!!!!
It’s now some type of unrecognizable, very thin, lunch meat looking stuff. With a reddish color to it It very much reminded me of the “Land O’ Frost” deli sandwich slices! Only cut into a bunch of small pieces. Anyway, it was such an extreme disappointment. Of course the prices weren’t lowered when their ingredients & quality were downgraded. Needless to say, it’s unfortunate that visit was the last time I’ll ever get their beef plate again!! Which makes me kinda sad tbh.
But in the upside, there’s another place just a mile or two away, on 32nd & Johnson Creek that has fabulous Gyros!!! (Gyros Grill)

And they use REAL MEAT!! That’s who’ll be getting all of my Gryos business from now on!!

The food was excellent! The portions were very large and it all tasted very fresh and homemade. The service was wonderful, the owner was super friendly, and was even willing to help me practice my Arabic. I’ll definitely be back!
