Sooo… I have been looking forward to getting their food. The family loves bbq, and I’m a chili fan, and of course CORN BREAD. We got the pulled pork meals with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes for sides. I got the chili and cornbread for myself. I have to say, I was impressed. The chili had just enough zing, not to strong. The pulled pork was done right, with the sauce flavors adding special flavor as needed. Someone in my family liked at least one of them except the one listed as L. It was almost like a dressing, perhaps that’s what it was. The corn fritters were a little small for me, but tasted good.
Most definitely going back soon and going to try the wings next time. Didn’t want to over do it. Great food.

Barbecue food truck parked at the Bousquet Appliance store. There are picnic table outside so it’s a chill place to sit outside and have your meal. They offer big portions and delicious barbecue. We had both kinds of ribs, homemade mac and cheese with little bits of bacon (I think?). The delicious coleslaw is also homemade and not the canned variety that you find in every other barbecue place. The collard greens were goo but TOO salty. Note to owners: Please consider a lot less salt. It was so good we drove back here from Rhode Island a week later but it was closed on Sunday! Dang.

This review saddens me, I don’t like to say anything negative about a business. We ordered Brisket (1 lb) and a 1/4 rack of ribs. We picked the sweet BBQ sauce for our side of sauce. Large Mac N Chz was really good, only thing to be picky about was the amount. The large is more like a small.
The meat was dry the brisket was tough and hard to swallow. BBQ sauce was excellent! Mac N Chz was really good.

Just so everyone knows they’re closed for the season, they’ll be back in March.
But, I love this food truck. I had their brisket sandwich over a year ago and been hooked ever since. It’s the only thing we get lol. They have a pick of sauces to choose from. Their sides get the job done. Can’t wait for my next one

Such an improvement from the previous establishment. Everything was absolutely delicious between the smoked wings, pulled pork, and brisket! Sharon was our waitress and she was FANTASTIC. She was so friendly and very attentive. It was a wonderful experience all around and we cannot wait to go back.
PS Make sure you’re hungry when you go because they do not shy away from portion sizes.

First time at Moodus BBQ. Fast friendly service. Texas Burger was great…Burger topped with pulled pork, onion ring and your choice of BBQ sauce. Ribs were smoked to perfection and sides (mac and cheese , Beans, Cornbread) were impressive. Prices seem a little high until you get the food then you see the value!! Will be back!

Pleasantly surprised! We had the brisket and smoked chicken leg quarters, amazing!… but the side dishes were off the charts! Try the Mac & Cheese and the hearty baked beans! You won’t be disappointed!
