MOOCHIE’s Meatballs and More was born in September 2003, serving fresh homemade Italian food and the best Philly Cheesesteaks and meatball sandwiches in Utah. Where did the name “Moochie’s” come from? It’s a nickname Joanna got from her dad that comes from an Italian word we can’t figure out how to spell. Almost immediately, Moochie’s began winning both local and national awards for their fresh, handmade food and it wasn’t long before the sandwich shop took over the pottery shop completely. In 2009, Moochie’s was selected to be one of seven restaurants to be featured on the Food Network’s, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” program hosted by Guy Fieri. If you ever have a hankering for a Philly Cheesesteak, I was told that this is one of the best places to go. They did not disappoint! I got their original Philly Cheesesteak with onion, and bell pepper, and mushroom. And they the filled that sandwich up!!! They do not skimp!I was surprised to find that they also have Pennsylvania Birch beer soda! I have not found it anywhere else here in Utah! Their fries were also tasty as well. And their sauces are so good! I recommend both the Jumpin’ Jalapeño sauce and the spicy fry sauce..

I felt like a good sandwich for dinner and I remembered Moochie’s was on my way home. Hadn’t been for quite a while. Went online to place an order for a 6″ Cheesesteak. It was a wonderful surprise when I went to pay for it and was given a coupon for $4.00 off. Just for ordering! It was just getting cut and put in bag when I arrived. It was delicious. Thank you for the great deal. Will come back.

The staff was helpful and the cheesesteak was very flavorful and delicious!! The young lady at the counter gave me some of each fry sauce to try since first time there and the fries were hot and fresh. Definitely recommend !!!

What a weird experience. Ordered their monthly special sandwich and some onion rings. First thing is their tip recommendations seem off. This is a standard place your order, pick up your order place but left to right the tipping options were 25% / 20% / 15%. They don’t seat you, wait on you, or customize your order so why would their first tipping option be 25%? I have concerns they are underpaying the workers. Secondly the sandwich was overstuffed and messy. It was so overstuffed and ripped through the bottom and made the sandwich even messier. Make sure to pick up some napkins in the side area if you are taking out as none will be provided in the bag. The bag was nice and the workers did show concern and wrapped one of the sauces in tin foil so it wouldn’t spill. Thirdly while we are on sauces I got three of them and none of them seemed right for my onion rings. It’s not like I could dip my sub in them and because it was so messy already I wouldn’t put more sauce on top of it. Lastly the food tasted decent but halfway through my 6′ it was cold. That was weird. I’m not sure if it was a sauce they heated up and put inside but it felt like it was microwaved and the middle was still cold. 2 stars for a unique experience.

Loved our dinner at Moochies! Had a Toasted Reuben and a Ham & Swiss! The hot sandwiches are messy with the sauce, but very delicious! One thing I love is that chips aren’t the only option to pair with the sandwich. They have wonderful sides – sweet potato fries and macaroni salad. It’s definitely a go-to premium sandwich shop!

Literally found THREE HAIRS in my footlong Philly, forcing me to have to look through the whole sandwich & killing my appetite, not even going to finish this sub due to there being hairs in it, who knows how many more there are that I can’t see. Paying 20$ for a Philly just for there to be hairs in it is upsetting. 1 star rating.

These guys are awesome. I had an order with an issue (through door dash) 2 days ago and when I called the manager I spoke to was very understanding and made it right. He kept my receipt from 2 days ago and honored his word when I came in today at about 7pm Fri/12/19 Never had a problem in the past, this was hardly their fault, maybe the order got made too early or quickly but the guy even kept my receipt pinned up on the rack from 2 days ago. Didn’t give me a hassle at all. 5 stars, love this place, whoever that manager is, dark skinned guy probably about mid 30s deserves a raise. Thank you

Moochie’s slaps every single time. I never get tired of it. The food is always on point and super consistent, which is why I keep coming back. Whether it’s a cheesesteak or a meatball sub, it always hits. One of my favorite spots in the city.
