Stopped in for dinner tonight and was blown away. The atmosphere was awesome on the water by all the big boats and everything and even though it was dark out, it was still great. Angie helped me tonight and she was wonderful. She recommended the large stone crab platter which came with four huge stone crab claws. They were out of this world. She also recommended the mahi bites, which were great too. Everything was amazing. Definitely worth a trip and definitely worth the price. They have a ton of drink specials and everything! If I come back to this area, I definitely will come back again.

Monthly’s Coconut Grove is a fun surprise ✨ We ordered a little bit of everything , the tuna poke bowl was fresh and flavorful, the fried calamari perfectly crispy, and the fried chicken katsu sandwich seriously hit the spot. And let’s talk about those giant curly fries… impossible not to keep reaching for one more.
The whole vibe feels relaxed, cool, and very “Grove” great energy, great bites, always super nice and cozy right on the water, with boats passing by that make the atmosphere feel effortlessly Miami.
Definitely adding this one to my go-to list.

It is a typical watering hole, but huge and can host big big parties. I love boats so this being right on the water was such a plus for me. Love the restaurants that are on the water. I met some really nice locals and the fish and chips were really fresh and good. Quality food. Big pours or wine and beers.

Happy Hour self serve raw bar and drinks are a bonus. Party of 1 and they add a 19% gratuity. Perhaps this is to accommodate for tips not customarily given from foreign visitors. Unsure, but notice prior to bill be provided would be more transparent.

I had the mahi fish tacos and my husband had the grouper platter. We had coconut shrimp and a bowl of she crab soup. Everything we ate was delicious and full of flavor. The service was extremely slow and there was a $13 service charge that came on our ticket for using the dining room. This was a 19% charge that was hidden before we came in and is the only reason that we won’t be back.

Food was ok. Fish dip was more like canned tuna. Rockefeller oysters were ok, but were just above room temp. I thought they would be nice and toasty from baking. Mahi Mahi was nice and warm and still juicy.

Delightful laid-back atmosphere. Definitely a good spot for locals and families to enjoy a breeze by the water or a nice sunset. Portions were relatively generous. Food was nothing special, but it definitely served its purpose. Lots of families and people just coming to have a chill time. Would definitely recommend for a casual get together with friends. Wouldn’t necessarily come here for a special occasion or looking for anything spectacular.
