My wife and I love the food here. I eat here at least once a week sometimes two or three times! I love the burrito Cancun, the guacamole, the thin crispy tortilla chips, the fajita burrito, and my wife really likes the birria tacos!
The chips and salsa are set on the table almost before we sit down! I believe the salsa is house-made. While it is always very, very good the flavor also varies from day to day in a good way! The wait staff is very pleasant and the food is always brought out quickly, hot, and delicious.
The atmosphere is conducive for conversation with festive music playing in the background.
Access is easy however having a mild disability, sometimes parking is a little further away than I prefer it to be, but it is only really problematic if the weather is foul.
Prices are very reasonable especially if you order from the lunch menu at lunch time.

This place is worth the 1 hour drive up to PA for us. My favorite Mexican food restaurant ever. We always get seated quickly and the staff are so friendly and professional. I usually get the enchiladas azteca that are amazing but today I tried their quesabirria special and I’m hooked. The beef was so tender and the consommé it came with was so flavorful and delicious. We also enjoyed the horchata and their selection of Jarrito sodas. The prices here are also very reasonable. Make sure you give this place a try!

I’ve been eating here for over 15 years, and the food has always been great. I recommend dinning in to fully enjoy the free chips and salsa, but getting takeout is also a great experience.

They seem to change the salsa maker every 8 months or so, and the house salsa can either be the best thing on the planet, or a smidge stale and onion-y. Still, the chance of getting the salsa during its peak quality cycle FAR outweighs the chance of getting middling quality salsa. The homemade chips are also great, and never miss.
I would recommend trying a huge California burrito, their enchiladas trio, their fajita burrito, or their excellent carnitas.
Overall, Montezuma’s is the best place to go for dinner or lunch in Waynesboro, and a great place to eat with friends or family. The food is always great, and the staff are super friendly!

Saw menu online and when I saw the actual menu at the restaurant the prices were completely different. I would suggest they update your online menu pictures so there is no confusion for new patrons. Aside from that, the service was superb and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit them again.

Wonderful little hidden gem. The food is to die for. Flavors are on point. The complimentary chips and salsa are freshly made. I had the shrimp chimichangas and those shrimp were large and perfectly cooked! Highly recommend this place!
