Our son and daughter-in-law recently moved to Dolores . We stopped in after a day of driving around the mountains. The food was excellent and at a very affordable price. Portions were huge and easily splitable. The tortilla soup with chicken was amazing with tons of perfectly cooked and shredded chicken. The Mexican pizza and burrito were very large as well! My margarita was strong and delicious. Our server Alexis friendly and professional!

Very much enjoyed the Fajita Burrito (steak). It was a generous portion that could have fed me AND my imaginary girlfriend. Service was timely. The deck was a great place to enjoy this meal. More tables are near the bank of the Dolores River (you can listen to the flow from the deck too).

This family own restaurant is on our top 5 list of authentic Mexican food. We were grace with Edgar who came to help during the summer and made our evening with my family. Super nice, very polite and friendly, he became part of our family instantly. The food was just like back home in California.
The drinks were very generous as my parents kept ordering more throughout the night. The outdoor patio was what made our night for our last night I’m Dolores. The evening with my parents and family, and dog, on the outdoor patio by the river was perfect. No complaints, just full compliments to this family own restaurant and staff.
When we come back to Dolores, we will be here, enjoying another evening and having drinks like we were apart of their family.

My Bride of 50+ years says we ARE going back. Maybe this year. Food was excellent service was great, and the Verde sauce was SUPERB! You can also eat by the river! Kids are welcome.

Great atmosphere, right by the river. Plenty of seating. I test all Mexican restaurants by there Chile Verde and tonight it was their special and it was perfect, just a bit spicy with the lime making it pop. Will be back!

We stopped in for lunch. I ordered the soft Super Taco, which was actually pretty good. The wife got the crispy taco but it had shredded beef that was overcooked and tough. The refried beans were really good. The service, although super friendly, was pretty slow. The best thing about it was that is is right on the Dolores river and it was nice sitting out on the patio. Their chips and salsa was also pretty good. All of the food portions were pretty generous.

Great place for Mexican food! Large outdoor seating spaces along the Dolores river. Food was great and came out hot! Dishes are definitely shareworthy. Excellent service! Wait staff was super friendly and checked in often to make sure we were enjoying everything or to see if we needed anything. We’ll be back!

This was a New Year’s Day stop in with limited options we are happy it was open. The food was good and the staff was kind and attentive. The large tortilla soup is huge and was good. The chicken enchiladas suizas were also very good.

Waitress was pretty good, atmosphere was awesome, dog friendly….food was okay. My gal said no rice and ther cook must of missed the note…they offered a replacement without begging but she picked the pork out and time to go! Don’t go for their food…go for the atmosphere, on the river. Oh yeah she ordered a frozen margarita and got it on the rocks…couldn’t taste the tequila. I got a 3 combo plate, interesting chili relleno…like a lot of Mexican restaurants the chili was canned.

Passing through and stopped for lunch. What better way to eat on a nice sunny day then outside next to a beautiful flowing river! Ordered chicken asado, flavorful and a good size portion. Great chips and salsa to start. Staff friendly.
