Monterrey Mexican in Bristol might not have the most appealing exterior or location… but once inside you are transported into a really, really nice looking authentic Mexican restaurant. Service was friendly. Tacos are $9.99 for 2 (pricey?) but they taste great. Carne Asada Tacos actually taste like grilled steak!! Al Pastor Tacos have a great, almost sweet flavor. Great job on both. Would easily order each again.

This place is a hidden gem in Bristol. As soon as you walk in the door the festive south of the border ambiance invites you in. Our waitress was wonderful, on top of everything and checked on us regularly. The food is well prepared, well presented and tasty. If you want a great Mexican experience, Monterrey is your place.

We love this little Bristol gem! We usually order delivery. Food is always delicious! Delivery is always on time and the food always arrives hot. The spicy green sauce is THE BEST! So is their cheesecake! Prices are great and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We honestly can’t get enough Monterrey!

The La Crema chicken dinner was fantastic. And the churro and ice cream dessert was heaven on a plate. Did not much care for the black bean soup, as I expected it to be more ‘soup’ like, with a thinner broth, and other vegetables. Will visit again just for the churros,,, they were divine!
