RUDE! Went in for the Thirsty Thursday deal of 5 for $25 buckets on surfside drinks, but we were given flavors we didn’t like! No one even bothered to ask us what we wanted after that. We were completely ignored! The bartender and the manager refused to take our order and had the audacity to tell us to leave if we didn’t like what we were served. They suggested we go to another bar or liquor store to get our own 4 pack! Then, to top it all off, the manager snatched my friend’s drink right out of her hand and kicked us out! It felt incredibly racist!

So I have done a few reviews and I have to say a few things about Montella’s in Lansdale . as you can see my reviews span many states so this is really exciting when it’s in your own backyard . From the cool bar atmosphere to the great food you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Chris introduces himself as the guy who waits on us ??? It turns out he’s one of the best local chefs in Montgomery Co. It’s wing night at Montela on Thursday so you’d expect to get the cheapest wings they can find. Believe me I’ve called other places out on their so called wings, not here!!! They are Jumbo and meaty even on 1/2 price wing nite!! The side sauces are fantastic too . Especially the Habenaro wing sauce . This is not finger food. This is culinary art- in a local friendly bar or possible Gastro-pub . The martini is a heavily poured one too boot . Thanks !!! This is my fourth or fifth time here and it has become my new favorite place . Take a look at the pics so you can see for yourself.

Literally walked in the door a man said to me you me having sex tonight then I looked at the bartender thank God that knowledgeable bartender after I order food because like a year or whatever some man did the same thing to me follow me outside then I came in all distressed and upset and they flagged me and I don’t even know because I was so out of sorts from the experience I doubt from outside of their establishment a while at least they let me grab food and spend my money and then decided to tell me after another man was rude to me the most confusing establishment I’ve ever encountered don’t let a man abuse you but when you go to rectify the situation they say you’re being out of control….,.

Met a friend here for drinks after work around 12am and it was busy!!! They had a DJ playing and the bar was hopping.
Bartender was attentive and friendly.
The kitchen was not open so did not get to eat anything for review.
Atmosphere was good, crowd was under control full of good socialization.
Bar seats were available along with a few tables.
Location is good since it’s on Broad and close to Main St.
parking is limited near the restaurant so you’ll have to be creative to get parking.
Menu did not get to see and the bar was good with the cocktails.
Prices are reasonable.
Cleanliness is good.
Overthinking it was a nice time dancing to good music, good drinks and good friends.
