We’ve eaten there several times and it’s always been good. Most recently we had a large family group and everyone was very pleased. Monteago Bay knows how to properly prepare seafood and the menu is excellent. The service is always friendly and attentive. We love seafood and it’s our top choice in Griffin.

The service was great, however I ordered sea scallops as stated on the menu. What I received was bay scallops. When asked the waitress had no idea of the difference. Also they don’t have butter but serve margarine. Food quality was about like Long John Silver’s.

My sister and I ate there and it was great. From appetizers to our dinner. We had calmari grilled fish fried oysters. All was fabulous.

Ate here and got sick before I left. Got a catfish po boy. I put tarter sauce on my po boy and it wasn’t until I took a bite without some on it that I realize the fish was spoiled.
