Friendly folks, great food. The barbacoa is fantastic (be sure to gnaw the marrow from those bones), and the char on my wife’s roast chicken was some of the best I’ve had. Fresh tortillas, good selection of condiments. Definitely coming back.

The carnitas was the best I’ve ever had! The vibe could be intimating to anyone who doesn’t know a lot of Spanish, but the staff was incredibly warm and helpful. Also, the tortillas are hand made which is a major plus. Salsa bar is self serve. For anyone looking for an authentic experience way off the beaten path, Monte Bello is the real deal.

Went here for lunch, got the platter which includes meat, veggies, tortillas, refriend beans and rice. I spent $14 in total. What a waste. The food tasted like supermarket food reheated. The beans i am almost SURE came from a can, they were not fresh refriend beans. Rice is rice, cant mess that up. Rest is unoriginal. I think this place is known for their bread/pastry products. I would try them next time but def not for a proper meal.

Hands down, best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing food and fresh-made tortillas on the weekends. Consistently amazing. Hit-or-miss on weekdays, but on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night, it’s the best Mexican food you can get in Greenville. They’re often sold out of what I want (barbacoa, buche, blood sausage) but I assume it’s because they’re so popular.

Very bad at attention to needs of customers, to my point of view needs lots of attention to the bar of sauces, last time I was there found a fly in my sauce once served on my food, I asked the waitress and she did only replace my food once I found the dead fly in it,she didn’t even bother to replace the rest of the sauce,she didn’t even care that we we knew was a dead fly in it,I guess since others didn’t knew doesn’t Matter to them…
