Pretty homy restaurant which had a neighborhood staple feel. The service was great and super accommodating for a large party of sixteen on a Saturday afternoon. I got the hickory pulled pork sandwich and was a little disappointed. The pork was dry and there was not enough sauce to give it moisture and flavor. I did add pickles to it which I think was a good choice to add some more flavor to it. The menu is pretty extensive so I don’t think the one mediocre sandwich is a fair reflection to their food as a whole. Quiet and easy to talk to atmosphere. Reasonably priced menu.

Came here today and staff was super nice. The orzo soup was delicious. I added a little salt. The chili was sooo good. My husband shared it with me. The tortillas were a great touch. The chicken Madeira special was ok. I loved the mashed potoatoes. The asparagus seemed a little undercooked. The chicken was ok though. Not my favorite. The sauce was like a sweeter Marsala. The burger my husband enjoyed. It was ok food for a quick stop but we didn’t love it.

I want to start by saying thank you to the young lady cashier. She was so nice and even unexpectedly extended herself by writing me a little note about all the vegan soup days. Thank you! My sandwich was really good. The fries were perfect. I defly recommend and will be going back.

Great gluten-free options! They truly have it all — from pancakes and French toast to waffles. Everything we tried, especially the pancakes and French toast, was absolutely delicious. The cherry on top is their pet-friendly outdoor seating, which made the experience even better

Montclair House Grill was a pleasant surprise! We started with the onion rings, which hit the mark, but things turned around quickly. The Greek salad was outstanding, featuring fresh ingredients and one of the best house dressings I’ve had in a long time, truly memorable. The chili nachos were another highlight: packed with flavor and impressively crisp, even under generous toppings. Somehow, they managed to keep the chips from getting soggy, a rare feat! If you’re in the Montclair area, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Another awesome meal at Montclair House Grill ! I loved my cheeseburger and my friend enjoyed her Greek Turkey Burger !!! Chill atmosphere with tons of breakfast, lunch and dinner items on their menu served all day long. This is a Montclair staple due to their delicious, reasonably priced food and friendly staff.

It would not be a trip home without a meal at The Montclair House Grill. They have a plethora of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wraps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, eggs – you name it, they cook it. The friend I went here with is a vegetarian. She loves their goat cheese salad. We split the hummus as an appetizer ans it was great! I loved my grilled salmon sandwich entree. Very tasty. We finished up with the carrot cake which was amazing. The venue was fairly quiet on Sunday evening. They are usually packed because they consistently deliver excellent food at reasonable prices.

Definitely a new favorite spot of mine. I’ve always ordered takeout and decided to dine in. The place is very clean, quiet, and homey. It’s BYOB and decently priced, especially since the portions are abundant. Our server was very attentive and the staff is overall very friendly. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time! Can’t wait to come back.
