We started with the blue cheese wedge salad — top. Then the three of us shared the 38oz côte de bœuf (ribeye on the bone), which was quite the experience. It came out sizzling on a hot cast-iron pan, and the waiter poured garlic, rosemary, and butter over it tableside — a real showstopper that turned heads for a moment! The aroma was fantastic, and the steak kept cooking at the table so you could get it just how you like it.
It came with five sides, all of which were good. For the quality and portion size, the price was also an amazing deal for the three of us.
Service was very friendly. The decor could be a bit nicer, but honestly, with food and service at that level, it’s not something to complain about.
We came on a Sunday at 5 p.m., and not long after, the place filled up.
Our server, Nate, was fantastic, very sassy and upbeat.
Our food cam out one course at a time, rather than all at one time, which is a wonderful change from other restaurants.
We started with the combo platter, then had the cotê de bouef, with a side salad and the seafood bisque.
Definitely worth a visit.
All of our steaks were well cooked and seasoned. Two members of our party got lobster tail with their steaks, both felt like the lobster was over cooked. However, for the most part we were very pleased with our dinner out.
However, I recently ran into an issue that was disappointing. Whenever I purchase the promotional gift cards, I make a point to ask the waitstaff to use those promo cards first since they come with expiration dates. Unfortunately, when we used our remaining cards from last year, the server didn’t apply the promo ones. Because of that, those cards expired, and we ended up losing $40.
While the food is still fantastic, the customer service in this situation was lacking. This experience has made me reconsider whether we’ll return for our Christmas party in the future. My advice to other customers: enjoy the great food, but always double-check which gift cards are being used so you don’t lose money.
Although it does get crazy busy in there it seems, the atmosphere was perfect!
