Have been here twice while on vacation and definitely going back many more times! Montana makes everything herself. Fresh, delicious food and very friendly service. Honey beer battered flounder was to die for! Burgers are juicy and flavorful. My husband couldn’t put the brat and burger down! Typically has daily specials but also a board with off-menu items. You literally cannot go wrong. We’ve eaten in 10 states this trip and extended our visit here because of the great food and small town vibe here.

Awesome hidden gem!! All the staff are amazingly friendly. The food…. 10/10. Some of the best around to be honest. It’s a small kitchen so be mindful of larger orders. But never the less, they will hustle to get you taken care of. I’ve seen the fryer and kitchen be cleaned every time I’m there. So you know that oil is fresh. Come check it out.

Visiting from Illinois for the weekend. Came here for lunch after bike riding all morning. Food was good, service was great and friendly. Lots of updating happening. Loved Montana Rae’s story as the new owner. We purchased some tshirts in support of her journey! Would definitely come back.

A quintessential Wisconsin experience. To truly experience Wisconsin, a visit to a bar like Tippy’s is a must. Tasty fried fish (walleye and perch are my favorites) served with buttered bread, potatoes and cole slaw: the fish was quite tasty; the cole slaw delicious. Sit at the bar and eat with friendly (and jovial) locals. An experience not to miss.Tippy’s epitomizes the Wisconsin bar dining experience.

I’m not so sure about the reviews as I checked them before ordering for take out…walking in you immediately feel uncomfortable being stared at by patrons “regulars” then, from the other end of the bar, the bartender says “order for take out”, gosh, am I that obvious. The food, yes it was hot but oh my gosh grease logged….I used 3 paper towels soaking up oil from our potatoes, and I really got that old oil taste from everything?? Sent the leftover chicken home with our company bcuz I didn’t want any of it! I won’t return, just wasn’t what I expected from reading most of these reviews!

First time there since the new owner took over. Inside was nice and it looks like some renovations are underway. Service was quick and friendly. The menu has a good selection of appetizers and hand helds.
The Food was delicious! The broasted chicken is juicy and flavorful. I had one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The chicken was thick and fried to perfection with good heat. They have good Old Fashions as well. Reasonably priced as well. We plan on checking this place out more.
