We went here 12/12/2023. The server was a sweet but frazzled lady. We didn’t have to wait for any service or our food. I had the beef tips over rice. Normally, the rice is very well prepared.
The was not the case last night. As the pictures show, the rice was was lumpy paste. You could see very few actual grains of rice. My husband had the the grilled chicken and shrimp with a baked sweet potato. The potato skin was black it was so overcooked. His chicken was dry, and the shrimp was crispy. Was it a new cook or were they using leftovers from the day before? Don’t know.

We got the lunch sized chicken fried steak.
It’s super good!
Service was fast and friendly.
The place needs renovations badly.
Carpet is sticky and falling apart, vents have dust and what looks like mold.
The tables were clean and not sticky.
I would visit again.

This is like a mini Texas Roadhouse without the crowds or waiting lines. Even the menu is very similar. The food is very good but not quite as good as the Roadhouse. It’s still a great option, especially if you don’t like crowds or having to wait in line.

Well, I know when I went there before it was great but, this time it was a bit, okay, a lot off. The food would probably have been good if, we didn’t have to wait for the mayo, or the ketchup for our fries. So, our food was actually cold before we could actually eat it. I went ahead and started eating mine and my daughter and her husband started eating theirs, but I was, and hopefully holding out for the condiments, but all three of us lost out! It was really disappointing to say the least. When it’s a special treat because you can only afford to eat out once in a blue moon, then it’s even more disappointing, I have to say I had my feelings more than hurt!! It was supposed to be a surprise for us all and it was ruined. But the attorney was Great. The waitress was, I felt like, testing the waters for tips and so help me she would have got an excellent one from us but not after ignoring us repeatedly and they weren’t even busy. So, I wouldn’t have left her one at all but my daughter left her one anyway. She was lucky. She didn’t earn it. Maybe she was flirting with another table is why we were ignored most of the time, I don’t know but I was disappointed. But don’t take my word for it because they are generally an excellent place, unless like the other places in town and can’t get good help. Try it and see. God Bless you

I ordered from here about a month ago online. I ordered 2 catfish meals and was ecstatic to get it because the last time my wife had ordered it. They called me and told me that they no longer had catfish and was told they cancelled my order and that it would be refunded to me I was assured it would be refunded. I was bummed but ordered something else off their menu. I got it and it was delicious. A few days go by and my “refund” still was not in my account. I called and told them about this and was again assured it was refunded even though it wasn’t back into my account & was told that the manager would call me the next day. I’m still waiting….because this was still a month ago.
