Really good food with friendly service. I came here with my cousin and we tried fried pickles for the first time in my life. It was delicious! The chicken salad wrap was also something I would eat daily. There is street parking, it’s wheelchair accessible, and have daily milkshakes, soups, sandwiches, and salads. The wild rice is sourced locally and I think that’s pretty cool. The coffee is just okay but good for a road trip.
I would recommend it as a pit stop on your way up north! They even sell some of the wild rice that you can cook later at home.

Wild blueberry pie with flaky crust! Delicious chicken bacon wrap and turkey club! Cozy sweet place with a good vibe. Very good service. Love eating here since the new owners took over! Cool to see the historical photos from the area on the walls. With limited lunch options in Cook, so lucky to have the good food and new menu- Thanks, Montana Cafe!

For what this place is, it’s really good. Brings small town cafe to a new level. Highly recommend getting there for the breakfast but the lunch is also really good. Prices are reasonable. It can be busy around holidays though so plan accordingly.

Triple Berry Cheesecake waffles were awesome! Looking forward to trying more of the menu and bringing kiddos back for the Pie Shakes and Malts.

Went here with my family during a vacation up north. Was surprised how quick the service was. There were many options and all were to customize. Worth the stop!

Cutest local cafe ever! The young owners are rockin’ it. The cafe has been remodeled inside and out. Tables are turning over all the time. The service is great and the breakfast is even better. Best pancakes anywhere. Great old time downtown location in Cook, MN.

We had a great experience here. This is a cute mom and pop restaurant that is well worth your time.
We started out with Garlic Cheese Curds.
Our meals were Montana Cuban, Montana Grilled Cheese, and Turkey Club. Each was supper nummy and unique.
We wrapped up with frozen pastys to go. Along with a coffee malt and their new Rhubarb Crisp Shake… both were awesome!

Hit up Montana Cafe for dinner during our Cook family escapade – did not disappoint! The kids were all smiles with their meals and my tender sandwich was top-notch. Stellar service, cozy atmosphere. We’ve found our go-to spot in town. Next visit already in the works!
