Appetizer: Grilled Prawns and Scallops in a “secret” sauce: Delicious, tender and buttery
Pesto Halibut w/ Risotto (special): very succulent and lemony! Risotto was cooked to perfection!
Short Rib Ravioli (not pictured): I didn’t have it but the review was…” it was bomb as hell”.
Dessert: Limoncello Gelato: so delicious
Service: Cheerful, Efficient, and Polite
Ambiance: intimate and cozy
Highly recommend coming here! Not an ideal spot for large groups, however, great for a table for 2-4. There is a 2 hour time slot till the next reservations come in.
Aside from the food, the restaurant was cozy and therefore relatively quiet during the time we went, which was a Saturday evening after New Year’s Day. It had a wonderful ambiance. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Throughout the evening we saw the wait staff talking to each table and laughing as if they were at home. The woman who filled our drinks stopped by regularly to check on us and make a nice comment which made us feel comfortable. Our waiter was also warm, funny, and gave good recommendations.
This restaurant left an impression on me because I am accustomed to highly rated Italian restaurants being mediocre. My wife and I have been to Naples, Italy twice in the last 14 months and we felt that Montalcino rivaled those in terms of quality, service, and ambiance.
Highly recommended.
Good options for vegetarians and pescatarians both.
The food? Absolutely fantastic. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The appetizers set the tone for the night—bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients. Every bite felt like it had been made with love.
It’s the kind of restaurant where you linger a little longer, not just because the food is excellent, but because the people make you feel like you belong there. A true gem—this will be our go-to spot for a long time to come.
The main course food — ravioli, spaghetti, lobster tail, chicken breast — amazing.
The sauces — I don’t have the words to properly describe how satisfying were their tastes.
Dessert — cannoli and gelato. So good.
100% would return. Go here if you enjoy truly excellent Italian food.
Entrees are big portions desserts decently sized.
Food is definitely on the rich/heavy side but good flavors.
Nice spot for a celebration, three birthdays last time i was there.
Fairly spendy.
