Mountains Are Best
Excellent food, clean space, nice people, good prices. You can’t get much better than that. Wife loved noodle soup and egg rolls. Spring rolls and Red Curry were excellent. Little bit un-nerving to have John Wayne in the bathroom with you, but the Duke’s cool.

Very fresh Food , I was very impressed with the staff . My food was very tasty love the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. You would never expect to come across such food in the middle of the mountains. I recommend this restaurant forsho !

Dont come often enough. Reasonable prices, cooked fresh, owner is Thai, therefore totally authentic and of course, cooked while you wait. We’ve eaten soups, Pad Thai, drunken noodles, spring rolls, Thai tea, and other foods. Usually either chicken based or vegetables for us. Love the her s from her garden. Daughter and mother team with a friend who helps serve sometimes. Don’t expect fancy, only delicious. If you’re a John Wayne fan, you’ll enjoy the memorabilia. We enjoy the locals who come for lunch, like a group of wildlife and fisheries folks. Note: if you ask for medium heat it will be HOT spicy food. Be careful. You can always add more spice to your liking.

This place has ruined me on egg rolls…. This place is so delicious and everything she uses is fresh from her garden no MSG found here.. Her egg rolls will have you comming back for more, next were the drunken chicken noodles.

I highly recommend monsoons…. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and it will always be my favorite place to eat! The food is AMAZING and the people are very friendly. They do only accept cash so just remember that when you stop by!! ❤️ If you haven’t tried their food, you’ve got to!!!

A business acquaintance from Mountain City recommended this place, and it certainly did not disappoint. Amazingly good food cooked to order. The red curry, rice, and egg rolls were delicious. The yum yum sauce was like no other. The owner was nice, and I enjoyed our conversation. I’ll certainly be visiting again.

I had the chicken red curry.
Huge portion of rice,very small bowl of curried chicken with very small amount of sauce,which made the whole meal very,very dry.
My wife had the cashew chicken, and the meal had the same issues.
I think they are living off their past reputation.
It is no longer the restaurant that it once was.
Really sorry to say that,and I won’t be back.
