The sushi (salmon roll & Philly roll) were good. The side seaweed salad was every good! The only thing I didn’t like was my Matcha milk tea. The boba was way too soft and the matcha wasn’t the best.

We have been to the restaurant a couple times and done take out a couple times. Such a hit or a miss. We will drive across the lake. Flavorless rolls that don’t stay together. Poke bowls very average, seems like they pay more attention if you dine in.

Monsoon’s sushi is very delicious. Great wait staff. Friendly, and knowledgeable. Parking lot is small in front. However, there’s plentiful parking around the area if you don’t mind walking.

Sadly, I wasn’t blown away. I’ve been wanting to try this place for such a long time and ultimately I was a little let down. The food was a little bland and kind of expensive for what we got. I can’t remember the name of the roll I got, but it was nothing special. My salad was literally a bowl of lettuce, but the dressing was good. We sat at the bar which was a weird spot to get service. We kind of felt like we were in the way. All the staff looked clean and well kept. They were hustling the entire time. I was surprised how busy it got. It was kind of a cluster during check out. No one told us if we paid at the door where the register was or if they took our card where we sat. Being that we sat in that weird bar limbo area it was hard to get an answer. We got up to ask and ended up standing by the door for 5 mins before someone could get to us.

This place was really good! My wife started with he shrimp egg rolls which she enjoyed. I had the crispy tofu with Teriyaki sauce. It was okay. The teriyaki sauce was kind of thick so it was strong on certain bits, but overall not bad. Then tried the teas and they were amazing. The Milk Tea with Toffee Black Tee was amazing. The boba balls were unnecessary for me. It was like little gummy bears in my drink. So I order my second without and the tea was still amazing. Our entrees were good as well. I got the Tempura Veggies, buy I’d just get them as my appitizers and get another item in my bento box. Outside of the good food and drinks our server was great. Matt was awesome. He gave me suggestions on food and drinks. We will definitely be back and asking for Matt.

My wife happened to find this on Google Maps while driving through Mooresville. This was probably the best sushi we’ve ever had! The fish was fresh and the recipes were delicious. I’d recommend everything we had if you like sushi! The Eva sushi stack, Drogon, and Tropical rolls were all great and unique. I hope we can come back sometime.
