I’m not super-qualified for this review because I don’t eat sushi. However, I can pick up the vibe of a place within 30 seconds (been to a decent amount of places).

This place is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is very good. As far as food, I really like the Chicken Wings appetizer and I think I had Sesame Chicken or something like that the time before this, which was solid.

If I had to pick out one negative, it would be that the bowls are a little small when you use the fork (or when I use the fork—maybe it’s a me problem). The fork-stab makes the bowl slide around. In my mind, I refer to it as a the Monsoon Slide, but don’t tell anyone that.

Whatever you call it, it’s a ‘fun’ challenge. Fortunately, there is no bowl for Chicken Wings—just lettuce. And who doesn’t love lettuce? 🙂

Anyway, a very well-run and clean place with very good food. And if you’re a sushi person, you probably don’t have to worry about bowls.

Definitely recommended! Added Bonus: Dairy Queen is in the same parking lot, so you can get ice cream afterwards. Unless you like sushi and hot dogs, then you can do that.

This was really good and I would highly recommend it. Make an effort to try this place out. It was the best sushi that I have in my life. Coming from Jersey that is a big push. If you are in the area stop by and try everything on the menu.

Waste of time, money and appetite. Tempura was soft, soaky. Shrimp had no taste. Asian fries were a wet mess on fries, korean beef was like shoe leather. Ordered green tea but they served Jasmine which was bitter and tasted like medicine. We paid $57, ate only few bites. We will never will return. Don’t get the high ratings for this place at all. Go to a counter top Chinese restaurant if you want comparable food and save your money.

I’m not a fan of sushi, so my review doesn’t reflect what appears to be this restaurant’s expertise.
My wife and I went here for an early dinner last night. We’ve eaten here before and it seems like something has changed. This time the food was basically tasteless. I got the curry shrimp. There was a little heat, but no flavor to ANYTHING in the bowl. The shrimp tasted like cooked rubber and the vegetables just had no flavor of any kind. The good things were that the vegetables were crisp and fresh.
My wife got the sweet and sour pork. All the breading got soggy from sitting in the bowl and fell off when the piece was picked up. Her bowel also had no flavor.
We both liked the salad with the ginger dressing. Unfortunately, that is not enough to make us want to go back.
We have ordered similar items from here for takeout. That experience was pretty much the same. I thought at the time ordering takeout just wasn’t a good idea. Now, it appears that wasn’t an isolated experience!
We will not be going back. We will still do business with the Sumo Shack nextdoor.

Staff is friendly but food was disappointing. We ordered sushi, Mongolian beef, lomein, fried rice, Korean pork belly and boba drinks. Sushi was the only good thing. Lomein was not made with lomein noodles. Flavor was bland. Soup served was super salty. Pork belly tasted like Chinese spare ribs. Boba drink was not sweet at all. Mongolian beef tasted like Chinese beef and broccoli.

The food is disgusting!
Way too sweet the udo bowl the noodles are overcooked and slimy with that nasty sauses all over it, steak is over cooked and chewy! The milk tea taste like dirty dishwater super waterlogged and disgusting.
We ordered twice to give them the benefit of the doubt, disgusting both times. Food is disgusting do not buy food here!

We went at “Monsoon Asian Grill & Sushi Bar “ with our friends for a dinner .
•The place itself is decent, simple(nothing fancy) but looks clean.
•Everyone there is nice and they took our order very quick.
•We ordered 6 rolls and “Sushi Tacos “and it tooks about 20 minutes to receive our food. * By the way, I recommend you to try the “Sushi Tacos” crispy and delicious.

*They are Not Pricey . I would say delicious Sushi for their price.

Lots of delicious drink options (boba, tea, slushies, sodas), got a peach soda this visit. Also three sushi rolls, fair prices and good quality. From previous experience: take out is pretty reliable. For a more proper meal I like the bento box option where you can customize the four things that come in it. (Picky eater, vegetarian, and GF friendly) Popular spot so expect a wait during dinner rush.

I’m from out of town but had dinner there with my family. It’s a nice comfortable space, and it was crowded! They have a great selection of draft beers which I appreciate. My appetizer was the Asian Street Fries. Great choice! I ordered the Surf and Turf Stack not knowing what it was going to be like. I really enjoyed it, you should know it is chilled, not hot. But it has great flavors and the chips for scooping make it that much better. Our server was Natalie, and she is awesome. She was very attentive and friendly throughout our dinner.
