Loved it here! Plenty of coeliac safe gluten-free crepe and galette options. The crepes were delicious – the ingredients tasted fresh and were great quality. The coffee was amazing! First time trying Tynemouth coffee and it didn’t disappoint. The service was great, the people who served me were very friendly and accommodating. Would love to return to try their savoury crepes too! Recommend!

What a gorgeous gem of a café! Beautifully decorated, cute decor and the most amazing service. Came as a table as 9 (3 adults, 6 kids ) and the staff couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating. It was my daughter’s 2nd birthday and they even sang her happy birthday and brought out a cake with a candle in! Also brought her colouring in sheets with her fave disney princess – so lovely. So accommodating for dietary requirements, so much gluten and dairy free choices. Will be returning ASAP!

Visited here today after meaning to come for quite some time, and now I can see why they’re often fully booked. It’s definitely advisable to book ahead. I rang at 10:50 and was able to get a table for 11:30, which was a really pleasant surprise.
As always, I visited with my dog Roo. We’re usually out together, so I always look for dog-friendly places. We were greeted by Mark, who I later found out is the owner. He was warm, welcoming and seated us quickly. He asked how I was and how my day had been, and genuinely made me feel comfortable. It was really nice chatting and learning a bit more about the restaurant from him.
The menu had more variety than I expected, with a good selection of savoury and sweet options. I went for the full English breakfast, which I’d been craving, and it didn’t disappoint. Roo was given treats, and they even have a small dog menu with pup cups and sausages, which is a brilliant touch.
It’s not a huge space, and I imagine it might be slightly challenging for wheelchair users, although I’m sure the owners would do their best to accommodate where possible.
It’s extremely dog friendly, so if you’re not keen on dining around dogs, it might not be for you. But for dog owners, it’s ideal. They even have their own dogs in a lovely crate near the entrance, which was great to see.
Overall, the food was good quality for the price, well presented and served in a clean, welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first visit today with friends and totally loved my experience. I had American pancakes, Bacon and maple syrup and a caramel latte. Everything was delicious, the coffee was the best I’ve had for a long time and the staff were all attentive and friendly. Already booked again for next weekend. Prices are so reasonable as well and have to finally add that the environment is relaxing and comfortable.

Came for my birthday and wow, menu is so big I had to get two breakfasts and they were both amazing. We all enjoyed our meals and catered well for my friends allergies.
Staff are so kind and welcoming, I even got a cute birthday surprise which was so lovely. Thank you

A Saturday off means a cheeky little trip out with hubby for breakfast. I have wanted to try this place for years and they didn’t disappoint. The lovely server was one of the owners. We were welcomed at the door and shown to our booked table. He was really reassuring when I asked about gluten free. He straight away checked if it was coeliac and confirmed I could have pancakes. He explained they are made fresh so may take slightly longer. The crepes are marked on the menu as gf but the pancakes weren’t but I knew my gf sister had previously tried them so I asked. Lots of other gf items available I am sure I will work through the menu.
They were delicious with a slight crisp outside then a good balance between fluffy and stodgy inside to soak up my maple syrup. They did offer more maple syrup but actually the amount provided was enough for me.
My non gf partner had french toast with cherry and greek yoghurt which he really enjoyed.
Overall good coffee, good food and the staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. I can see why the place was full so would absolutely recommend booking in advance.
Thank you team Monsieur Crepe

Beautiful scones and coffee. We’d ordered a scone, a cup of cappuccino, a cup of mocha and a plate of sandwich with bacon, egg and hash brown. All tastes well. And the price is reasonable and fair imho. Waitresses working there are polite and considerate in my impression. Thank you.

Everything delicious. I’ve visited twice so far (and still want to come back for another visit). The crepes are delicious. Cosy atmosphere. They accept bookings. Did not enjoy the French toasties much (so can’t recommend that item on the menu). But the crepes are the reason why this place is always busy on weekends, so go for it! Very kind staff.

What a superb, well run and really friendly place this is. We went for lunch on Sunday 25th and booked as we had read it can get busy. We were met at the door by a couple of really friendly team members and shown to our table. We had a tuna melt, a chicken b.l.t sandwich, a strawberry shortcake crepe with white chocolate, and a hunters chicken galette. The tuna melt also came with an added cup of vegetable and lentil soup. We also had tea and coffee. The food was superb. The team checked with us regularly to see if we wanted anything else and that all was OK. Cannot fault anything from today’s visit. Would recommend It.
