Gluten, dairy & soy free needs met. Food is outstanding! Entry felt a little tight but manageable. Your order is taken as you enter, a number provided, beverages made (if ordered), & food is delivered to your table once ready. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Complementary water carafes are out – you can grab one for your table or a single glass for yourself. Music was energetic. I did not have any difficulties hearing the people at my table. There is parking in a lot next to the building – look for payment options.

This was my first time to Monse’s but won’t be my last! I got a meal which definitely would feed two people (I love leftover so no issues for me) and a drink. What I paid for the quantity of food I got, was very reasonable. And most importantly the flavors were delicious! They had lots of vegan options but also plenty of food for non-vegans. The dog-friendly patio had about 12 tables and multiple umbrellas so my pup and I found a shady spot on a sunny afternoon. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. Plus, they came around offering vegan samples from their new cafe. I had a top-notch experience.

The first two times I ate here, the food was amazing and service wasn’t bad! Just ate here tonight & am so saddened by how bad our experience was. The two women that worked the front barely acknowledged us walking in, were continuously on their phones (one was even FaceTiming ) , one frequently touched her hair & I watched the other one rub her nose with her hand multiple times. Could’ve washed their hands, but genuinely just gross behavior to exhibit in front of customers. There were multiple tables that still had dishes on them & our table had beans on it because they weren’t being cleaned. I understand being short staffed, but seems the staff had plenty of down time. The food was a huge letdown from previous experiences. The super small portion of yucca fries were cold to the touch and flavorless, seemed like they’d been sitting out for at least an hour. The black bean pupusa was bland and spilling out, also not hot enough. I want to provide the owners with honest feedback so they can bring their business back to its usual potential and better standards

Oh wow. We went here on a Sunday because our friend has a gluten allergy and left with our bellies full of incredibly delicious food.
I had the Salvadoran Bowl and it was incredible. We had a party of 5 people and everyone ordered something different and everyone absolutely loved it.
There was a line but moves quick and it’s totally worth the wait. Great atmosphere and vibes.

I love you Monse’s. You are one of my favorite restaurants in the springs and I’m always quick to send folks your way. Your food is always the best! And in a city that doesn’t have a ton of culture, El Salvadoran food should be celebrated.
My wife and I did take out the other night from you. I got a carnitas pupusa. A few bites in and I didn’t taste anything aside dough and cheese. I surgically opened my pupusa to see the attached photo. It just broke my heart.
I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. I still love you. You still get 5 stars from me. But my wife and I are taking a break. We’ll miss you, but we will come back when emotionally recovered. ❤️

Last week, our firm, Your Tax Lady & CO ordered pupusas for our entire office, and they were absolutely fabulous! The flavors were authentic, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Each pupusa was cooked to perfection — warm, cheesy, and packed with delicious fillings.
The curtido and salsa were the perfect complement, adding just the right amount of crunch and spice. It’s not often that every single person in the office agrees on lunch, but this was a unanimous 10/10 from our team!

Monse’s Cuisine has done it again. I never expected that, of all places, Colorado Springs would be home to the most delicious Salvadoran food I have ever tasted. Everything is consistently excellent — the place is always clean and welcoming, and the food is simply amazing.
The cocktails and margaritas are truly exceptional — beautifully crafted, refreshing, and unforgettable. You can tell the bartender takes great pride in every drink, and it absolutely shows. Each cocktail feels like part of the experience, not just a drink.
The cherry on top is their commitment to fresh, organic ingredients and the incredibly friendly staff, who always make you feel at home.

Wow- what a great experience all around!! We did not know how big the Papusas were and ordered arguably too much, but not mad about it. The Yuca fries are 11/10 and the green salsa brings so much flavor and spice. Love that they have vegan and vegetarian options for more variety. The mushroom papusa was really good too.

Excellent restaurant. Food is amazing, the staff are friendly, their outdoor patio is nice during summer. The first time my wife and I ate there, we were greeted by the owners who asked how everything was. They were very nice and genuinely wanted to know if there was anything that could have been done to make our experience better. I appreciate businesses that put customer service as a priority. That said, the customer service was amazing to begin with, the food seemed genuine like it came from someone’s family recipe and it was fresh. A+
