Decent bbq spot, came here for the Taco Tuesday lunch special.
The pulled pork was already sauced down with bbq sauce and the juices from the coleslaw. The portions were great but once you take a bite and get through the thick of it, the pork itself had me feeling empty & dissapointed. Mac & cheese was good, but the best part was the peach cobler.
Enviornment was welcoming while feeling somewhat outdated. Service was oddly slow for it being mostly empty.

Best BBQ in Jax! The onion rings are to die for. I really miss the one they closed on Beach Blvd so now we make the trip to the west side. Best brisket and burnt ends, my husband loves the turkey and collards. The staff is friendly, food comes out fast and there is plenty of it. Classic BBQ at it’s best!

I haven’t been to this place since 2016 and let me say this place still taste very good. The banana pudding is a must have. I would have given it five stars but the greens had too much vingear in it. Once I took it out the vinegar and ate it for left over it was wonderful. Everything else was great. I had the Meaty dinner and my daughter had the one meat and 2 vegetables. Safe to say she loves the turkey, the Mac, and banana pudding.

The food here is really good. The meat is very well smoked and very well seasoned. The only reason that I am not giving Monroe’s 5 stars on their food is that: I order 3 wings and ribs AND got 3 half a wings (see pictures). I found that to be misleading, especially for the price.

Service is usually pretty good, I did an online order for wings with sweet potatoes and collard greens as my side. I asked one of the servers if I could get a Cajun ranch and I was going to give her the ranch back that was already in the bag and she catches and attitude and says it’s one in the bag. Yeah but it’s not the Cajun one and I told her when you order ok the web it doesn’t give a choice of Cajun ranch. It wasn’t my first time ordering from there website and if the choice was on there I would have chose. If you don’t like your job go work somewhere else

This place is ill equipped to handle a lunch rush! One lady took twelve minutes going through the menu with a customer and not one other employee (many standing around) offered to help other customers! If your a professional and on a time limit I would avoid this place! Service is slow like the DMV!
