The food was good, the corned beef brisket on my Ruben was perfect, melted in my mouth. The fries were very good but a little under cooked. The service was slightly dismissive. The lunch menu seemed a little small for a Diner.

Stopped into Monroe Diner to try their pumpkin spice cinnamon swirl pancakes, and they were the perfect taste of fall. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor with a sweet cinnamon swirl throughout. I also tried their Western omelet, which was a great savory balance to the sweet pancakes. The portions were generous, everything came out hot, and the service was friendly. Definitely a spot I would come back to for breakfast!

First the diner is extremely clean and the service was great. Waiter was polite, efficient, and made eye contact while ordering our food, which may seem odd to mention but these days isn’t a given. The food was delicious, had the everything avocado toast with scrambled eggs. The sour dough toast was thick sliced and dense, avocado was plentiful and the egg scrambled softly. An omelet was also ordered, generous portion with toast and a nicely browned order of hash browns. Nice decor as well, not too loud even though was busy.

Diner food done right. The menu is smaller than you’d expect at a diner, but maybe that’s why everything they serve is so good. My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch. The place was bustling! A packed house at noon on a Sunday, and rightly so. It’s worth stopping by.

When I started going here a few months ago, the first 2 times the food was awesome. The last 3 it hasn’t been great. Nothing was hot, coffee was burnt, eggs undercooked, and it almost felt like the food was waiting in the window for someone to order it rather than it being made for us. We will continue to try for the initial experience because it was so good and I value small businesses and don’t like to write off establishments too quickly. Everyone is entitled to have an off day. I’m hoping the next time I am in it is more like the first 2 experiences I have had. Also, the wait staff is nice, they don’t bother you and they are always accommodating when you need something extra or more. And it’s a classic diner atmosphere which I love.

This diner is the best! Their holiday decorations are up, and it feels so cozy and festive inside.
I’m obsessed with their seasonal pumpkin cinnamon swirl pancakes. Their green juice is also super refreshing and balances everything out. The staff is always so friendly and makes you feel right at home.

This restaurant is AWESOME! the staff is so friendly and helpful. Our family had Norma and she was a amazing and made us all feel like home. Everything we ordered was by far the best food we ever had at a diner. Pancakes were over the top and the ribs were so good. You NEED to stop by and get anything on the menu. You will not be disappointed
