This place is a hidden gem in the back alley of Plattsburgh NY. Been in business since 1887. A real “Cheers” vibe here. The wings were very good, lots of flavors, and the craft beer was awesome! The service was great as well, fast and personable. Will def go again. 2 small things: too much sauce on the wings and I prefer them a bit more fried, not that they were underdone, they were done, just not enough for my liking, I like a little crusty skin on them.

Tldr; go here to drink with the boys but don’t get food expecting it to be good.
So if i were at this bar getting tanked, this food would do me right. As i am not tanked, this food is so-so but i could have bought it at the grocery and heated it myself.
The poutine is bar poutine and it’s not amazing. The gravy is sus, the cheese is melted mozz which is technical heresy, and the fries are freezer bag fries. The jalapeño poppers are also just mass produced.
I had hopes for the wings. They are crisp and well cooked but there is almost no sauce. Its dry and wanting of finger licking.

My favorite bar in Plattsburgh. You have to give a shoutout to the perfect wings they serve. That is how you make chicken wings. Be sure to eat them in house paired with your favorite drink. It doesn’t get better than that! I also must give a shoutout to the preservation of a beautiful historic building. I will be enjoying a drink there again very soon.

One star around the board. They used to be the best wings and pizza in town. I never order out because I cook. Unfortunately I suffer from chronic migraines and didn’t have the mobility to cook so I ordered to make sure I was eating. Last time wasn’t good either but figured it was just a mishap..but was even worse this time. Never the one to complain but the fact they let this leave the door has me astonished. Cold, and old burnt taste that does not leave your mouth. Pretty much ‘a’ tender ripped apart and called wings. And randomly a container of gelatinized ketchup to go with..? Praying I don’t get sick after I tried them after this picture…

19th century old bar with plenty of chicken wings flavors and made to order. Great local beers and alternative music.

Went on an off night of the week hoping great service, to my surprise service was bad. Bar tender seemed to only cater to their friends, the only two at the bar while I was in the building. Its shocking that a place would do this even with myself and several others waiting for drinks. I won’t ever be back here again.

Good pizza and great wings. Lots of creative sauces. Definitely the “pub” feel. Have to pay cash at the bar. The men’s room entrance is a bit awkward because there’s a table right behind it, so you have to squeeze behind someone to get there. Big projector screen for sports. Overall it was good!

A huge thank you to Monopole for putting on such a wonderful spread yesterday for everyone who needed a place to go for Thanksgiving. ️ All the volunteers and staff members did such a fantastic job, and they truly deserve to be recognized for their hard work and generosity. Unfortunately, Donna couldn’t make it due to not feeling well, but the staff had no issues with me bringing a plate back for her, which was greatly appreciated.
The meal was absolutely delicious, with everything from turkey and mashed potatoes to gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, carrots, baked ziti, and macaroni & cheese. And the food kept coming out, so there was plenty for everyone! ️ It was great to see not only one of our local city PD officers , but also so many friendly faces coming together as a community.
Thank you again to everyone who made this possible – your kindness made the holiday special for so many!
