A taste of Italy is what you will get here, down to the chairs and decor. Even the sparkling drinks remind me of the Amalfi coast. Pasta is always made in house, and each and every dish is made from scratch with the absolute highest quality of ingredients. They have weekly specials which are not To be missed. We were lucky that they had fresh truffles with guanciale. It was so so good. Our server was awesome as well, taking the time to explain the specials as well as the desserts that weren’t on the menu. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours , but there is paid as well. They also have a pizza place next door that makes pizza and fresh bread. A true gem to have a place serving French and and Italian cuisine by an actual French and Italian chefs

We have been meaning to try this place forever and finally did this afternoon. Our server, Francesco was so nice and attentive, making sure to go over the menu in detail for us. The carbonara and gnocchi dishes were both delicious, and you can tell everything was made from scratch. We finished it off with the panna cotta, which was AMAZING. I can’t wait to come back and try this place again, also on a day where we can drink a nice bottle of wine! 10/10 experience.

Do not walk, but run to this place! So cute and quaint. The food is so fresh and delicious. They use the freshest ingredients. Francesco (I believe what his name was) / owner makes you feel like you’re eating in his home kitchen. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The food and service were excellent. This is a hidden gem. Fresh, homemade pasta has perfect texture and flavor. We enjoyed all the dishes we had. Carbonara, termana, and a truffle sauce special! We will definitely be back. The Italian waiter was very helpful and provided good service.

Amazing experience at Mona Lisa Trattoria in Kemah, TX. Our server, Francesco—from the Amalfi Coast—was fantastic and guided us to truly authentic dishes. The homemade pasta was outstanding (pappardelle bolognese and black truffle chef’s special), the charcuterie board was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the espresso, cappuccino, and panna cotta were all exceptional.

Everything I’ve had has been absolutely amazing! The chef’s special is always great and for dessert, I always get the pavlova *chef’s kiss* Francesco was our server and was phenomenal! He’s so friendly and instantly talked us into the truffle pasta

Wow! The truffle pasta was unbelievable! To have this restaurant in Kemah is such a blessing! Look at the shaved truffles on this pasta! And Francesco is the nicest waiter. Feels so good to feel like you’re in Italy in your own backyard! And they have a great Italian wine list, couldn’t recommend them more!

Food was delicious. We had the small Charcuterie board, with the Chef’s Special, a truffle pasta, and the Tiramisu with an Espresso. Francesco was amazing. Food was 10 out of 10. The restaurant was very cozy and relaxing. I will be visiting again.

Amazing! Noah is such a great server and took great care of us. Bucatini is phenomenal! Such a traditional home style Italian restaurant. Panna cotta dessert was so light and refreshing. This dessert easily made this restaurant go beyond 5 stars. Eat as much as you want and don’t get the bloat feeling after. 100% worth trying.

Questo è vero Italiano! We had such a great meal and service we turned our dinner visit into a repeat lunch visit the following day. Francesco adds the personality to the experience that compliments and emphasizes the amazing quality and flavor of the REAL Italian food. Am amazing find in a very unexpected location – can’t wait until they get the Napolitan Pizzeria going next door! Highly recommend and will make it a point to return!
